How many of you remember playing the old 8-bit NES console back in the 80's? Maybe you've played the Atari or Pong? Well, that makes you at least 20 something years old, and I assume that if you've followed generation after generation of consoles then you're still gaming to this very day. Those were times of your youth and a game console would be that "shiny" new toy that every little boy and girl wanted for Christmas. Well, you're not a kid anymore and you're still gaming, but many still consider that playing video games is a form of entertainment directed towards youth. Is it time to grow up and pack the consoles into the closet, delete any games you have on the PC and pursue a new life when you reach a certain age?  Late at night while I was staring off aimlessly in my Microeconomics class, a topic was presented during lecture: videogames. Of course, being the nerd that I am, I quickly snapped back into reality as the magical subject peaked my interest. It was a rather boring discussion about wants and priorities that had something to do with buying habits and, you know, economic stuff. Nothing I really cared about was vocalized...not until it was all said and done. My instructor had to do it; he treaded into territory that could get him bludgeoned or shot down. He said, "I don't play games since I just don't have the time. I have a life." What's that supposed to mean? When it comes to speech and writing, you want to be clear and concise without leaving any doubt to what is being expressed. Is my teacher saying that gamers have no life? Is he telling the whole class, a bunch of people aspiring to work in the IT field and whom are most likely gamers, that they have no lives? As an MMORPGamer who has seen many people in games spout such nonsense as if they were in denial, I was appalled to hear such a thing in an environment I had least expected it. This is a major
