Wizards of the Coast announced this week that it has entered an agreement with Nexon America Inc. to create a Trading Card Game for the MMORPG MapleStory. MapleStory is a casual MMO displayed in 2D that allows players to portray a monster hunter and join other characters for questing. This venture will combine the vast online content available from Nexon with the redeemable content made famous in Wizards Neopets TCG. Wizards of the Coast, Inc. (NYSE:HAS - News) today announced a partnership with Nexon America Inc. to launch the MapleStory iTrading Card Game (iTCG) in the US and Canada in November. The iTCG is a real-world Trading Card Game with codes redeemable for exclusive virtual-world game content鈥揳n interactive extension to MapleStory, Nexon鈥檚 massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), which is enormously popular with more than 67 million worldwide registered accounts.
