Short Sharp Shower Deck was thought up and shot by talented Green Thing friend Michael Wright. It was lit by Stuart Bunce and features the music of John Hegley, Zeep, The Meanies, Martin Jones and Tom Williams. When discussing how the hands should act, Wright was very specific. “They should have the panache of Tony Hart and the confidence of Rachmaninov.” A Partizan-Hibiki Films production. Very nice.

The very first teaser trailer for Frank Miller's adaptation of Will Eisner's The Spirit has finally debuted. The film focuses on the masked superhero The Spirit, whose mission is to fight against the bad forces in Central City. I think Frank Miller has got this thing down. I love the feeling, I love the look to this, the music, everything. I don't know why anyone doubted Frank Miller to begin with? This feels like 300 and Sin City combined, but with an even more classic touch. No footage besides Gabriel Macht as The Spirit, but that's all that matters at this point. We've got plenty of time to go! Check it out and let us know your thoughts! Adapted from the legendary comic book series created by Will Eisner, The Spirit is a classic action-adventure-romance written for the screen and directed by genre-twister Frank Miller. It is the story of a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead as the Spirit (Gabriel Macht) to fight crime from the shadows of Central City. His arch-enemy, the Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different mission: he's going to wipe out Spirit's beloved city as he pursues his own version of immortality. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted kil

A note on Vespa “Jump” from Glen Hunt, Creative Director, Dentsu Canada: Vespa is sometimes dismissed as a ‘pseudo bike’ given its scooter status. But rather than run away from its lack of traditional bike credentials Vespa Canada and Dentsu Canada chose to embrace them. After all, the Vespa scooter may not be able to fly gorges or jump parked cars but if you’re looking for an icon of love and beauty, you need look no further than Vespa - the Italian scooter built for love. A note from Gary Thomas, Creative Director, Crush: Crush opted for the iconic 50’s style animation and surreal setting which fit perfectly with the Walter Mitty imaginary dare devil storyline we were going for. The piece was shot and directed by Crush’s Sean Cochrane. The jump was a digital double, done in CG, and the piece was put together in Inferno at Crush. The biggest challenge was finding the stunt man with the right mix of cool and “Kramer”. The team finally settled on Gaspar, who has since become face of Vespa in Canada. For Crush, this project was a great opportunity as it gave us a chance to complete the entire project from shoot to finish in addition to giving the animators a chance to do some digital dou

There’s not much details about it. This is merely to see if you’re up to the challenge to put your website on the line. If you run an e-commerce website, you ought not participate; this is purely for those with personal blogs or for those who run publications or…whatever. All the more props to you if you run a large website! The fact of the matter is, if you’re writing good solid markup to begin with, it shouldn’t be all that bad anyway. It will be a test case to see how usable your website is to others without a design. So in the meantime, don’t hesitate to prepare your site for the big day. If you feel the need to explain why your site is naked (without design) to your visitors, simply put the following markup at the top fo your page (remember that this is totally optional):
"The idea behind this event is to promote Web Standards. Plain and simple. This includes proper use of (x)html, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, and of course, a good ‘ol play on words. It’s time to show off your <body>."
Then on April 9th, simply remove all CSS from your website, stripping it entirely of its design.
The official site of this event: http://naked.dustindiaz.com/

Nobody forms an estimate of a game without his own standard. We view the world from our own point of view, just like we treating games. Ideas in everyone's mind are not all the same. So there are multifarious games on this planet. A game may gets full marks by someone, but most people feel no affection with it. On the other hand, the game is still there, even if you grade a game with a zero score. Its feature had not altered. Some people insist that "reason is not measured by screenshot quality or vivid details, but by gaming capability". Do you agree with them?
On the afternoon of March 8th, Giant Interactive held a press conference in Shanghai, during which announced the date for Giant Online, its second self -developed mmo. Shi Yuzhu believed that Giant Online will be rated 90 point, while the most popular mmo World of Warcraft was considered rated 60 point. But in market worldwide, World of Warcraft should considered rated 80 point, and Giant Online only be rated 79 point. Because the values and culture of WOW doesn't fit Chinese Market. Standards vary in market.
Some days ago, several market research firms published data saying that Giant Int
