Introduction to CABAL.CABAL is a korean MMORPG with the intent on making a "Revolution of Action" with innovative battle systems and such. This is the European version currently in control by Game Masters company. ESTSoft is the company that made the game. There is currently a North American Release planned soon, as well, and is hosted on Game N Game. There are 150 levels in the Korean version, 50 in Closed Beta, 75 in Open Beta, and official release, we do not know. In Official Release, it is going to be P2P, nothing more. No crappy cash shops, nope, non of that sappy stuff, just pay to play.
Classes, Pros, Cons.Blader: A offensive class that uses two Katanas or Blades for more damage. Somewhat like a Assassin.
Pros
Wears Martialsuit set, highest defense rate armor.
Out of all the classes, has the highest DPS. (Just a theory.)
Easy to level with their insane attack and duel weapons.
Focuses MAINLY on sword.
Cons
Martialsuit set has the lowest defense of all sets. So when you take damage, you take a lot.
Overused, and highly predictable due to that fact.
Compared to most classes at higher levels, Blader has low HP.
Force Blader: A class that uses magic and swords. Their unique ability is the ability to enchant elements and get benefits from them. Uses Battlesuit armor. For weapons, they have a Katana in the main hand, and an Orb on the other hand.
Pros
Has a lot of Magic attacks for long range.
Has a lot of Sword attacks for short range.
Lots of criticals with enchants.
Uses Battlesuit set, which provides a good distrubution between defense and defense rate.
Many debuffs in their main attack skills.
Cons
Their abilities are not concentrated in one area. So skill leveling is harder, somewhat.
Slow levelling at first, somewhat.
Force Archer: A class that uses Astral Bows, a skill they have from the start that gives additional stats which increase per level. Levels are gotten from equipping higher level equipments. IE: Training Crude Crystal=Level 1. Crude Crystal=Level 2. Uses two Crystals; one for summoning a Bow, and one for backup power.
Pros
High Damage
Focuses on one area only (Magic)
Has an Astral Weapon.
Has very high HP after they get a certain skill.
Great at mobbing.
Uses Battlesuit set, which provides equal distribution between defense and defense rate.
Can heal for great ammounts of HP.
Has a good regeneration skill.
Some of their long ranged skills can knockdown/push/both.
Cons
Limited to long ranged attacks.
Warrior: High HP, high defense, medium-high damaging units. Has the second highest defense rate. Uses Great Swords and Daikatanas.
Pros
High defense.
Good mobbing.
High HP.
In the long run, is the strongest character.
Cons
Low defense rate.
Is limited to mostly close attack.
Magic is weak due to extremely low int.
Hit rate is low.
Force Shielder: Highest HP, Highest Defese, Medium-High attack. Uses Blades and Crystals Also possesses an Astral Shield, which gives a few bonuses. It can also level like the FA's Astral Bow.Pros
Has an Astral Shield.
High HP
Highest defense.
Very versatile.
Good mobbing.
At high levels, does great damage, and probably has the highest HP.
Has a decent healing skill.
Cons
Defense rate is low.
Their skills before A. Expert may be weak.
Wizard: Low HP, high damage, great mobbing class. Uses martialsuit set. Uses dual orbs.
Pros
Concentrated in one area.
High attack power.
High defense rate.
Best mobbing class.
Cons
Sword skills aren't very useful, except for fade step and dash.
Low defense, so you'll take big hits if you ever do get hit.
Low HP.
Hit rate is low.
Skill SystemIn CABAL Online, I consider it to have a somewhat unique skill system. First of all, to see your skills and stuff, press K. Theres this little bar, that might have some blue in it, that's your exp bar. Above it, it says your rank, and a number out of another number (IE: Novice 4/15.) You see, after using skills devoted to one category a few times (Not in a row.), the Skill EXP bar raises a hair. That hair, is 1%. At novice, it usually takes 2 hits for 1%, so, 200 hits for 1 novice skill level, which adds to the first number. Once you reach the second number in the rank status, you upgrade to the next rank. Simple, huh? But, there are some things that modify skill EXP. Like, Adept items. They add +3 skill exp. Or, skill levels. An Apprentince level 9 skill will level faster then a Novice level 9 skill. To level skills, you don't need to use your level of skills;it's just that that level of skills you currently have levels faster. You can use novice skills to level up to Expert, but Regular skills would be faster. Everytime you level your rank, I believe you get stat boosts. Theres a tab named Upgrade as well;basically, if one of your skills is Master, you have Master in Upgrade. To get Transcend, I believe you have to get Magic and Sword to Grand Master.
Now, there are skills in ranks as well. To level these skills, you just need a skill point which is gotten from levelling once in a rank (IE Novice 3/15 -->Novice 4/15). You can use them on any skill, but you must meet the rank requirement. You can also take back skillpoints for a small fee. At level 9+, it takes more then one skill point to upgrade BTW.
To get more skill slots;simply level your skill ranks from novice>apprentince>regular>expert>a expert>master> a master>g master
Battle Style Levels. As you eventually find out in the game, every 10 levels, your instructor of your city (FB+FA=GD, FS+W=BI, BL+WI=DS.) gives you a quest to level your battle style. It usually is just go to town 1, do a quest, repeat with town 2 and home town, then get battle style level up. Everytime you level up, you get some sort of an addition. When you get them, it's in one of the tabs in the skill screen.
Level 10: Combo is able to be used.
Level 20: After you pick your aura, you can use it.
Level 30: First battlemode.
Level 40: Aura level up.
Level 50: Second battlemode
Level 80 or 90: Vehicle license.
Combo: See below.
Auras: There are a few auras, and each I believe give a different bonus+look. Theres Ice, Water, Fire, Wind, Earth and Lightning.
Battlemode 1: Each class as their own battlemode.
Battlemode 2: See above.
Blader: Illusionist. Just a buff, I believe.
2. Gets claws, and a buff. Normal attacks are extremely fast. Access to "Blader Jump" (not actual name.) which does massive damage.
Wizard: Chain Caster. Basically a buff.
2. Double Caster. A buff, and it allows you to multitarget. Just select 2 mobs, then use a spell and you're character will hit them both, probably. Second skill: Elemental Festival. Basically just jump up in the air, and bomb the monsters for massive damage <_<
Warrior: <Need help.>
2. <needname>Turns your weapon into a Scythe which you can throw. Also, it's normal attack has a MUCH bigger radius now.
Force Blader: Force Enchant. It turns all your magic attacks into buffs. When you activate a magic spell, you instead enchant it on your sword to do more damage. X matk+ X atk=Total attack after enchanting.
2. Prismatic Magic Canon: Turns your orb into a cannon which shoots shots with much more attack. BUT, magic can only be used after you perform a sword skill. Also gets a AoE skill which does good damage.
Force Archer: (Need name.) It turns your bow into a bow with a AoE. Everytime you shoot, theres a small AoE around you (Need confirmation if it's around you, around the arrow, or both.)that hits other monsters for 100% damage. After leveling it, it can go as high as about 90 degrees or so.
2. <Needname>Turns your bow into two pistols which can multi attack, and shoot very fast. Also, you get Fatal Shot, a very strong skill which turns your pistols into a rifle and shoots it at the enemy.
Force Shielder: Counter Attacker. It's 2 things. A buff, and it makes enemies that hurt you get damaged as well. Say an enemy hit you for... 30 damage? You'd return some of that damage back. It deflects, so you still take the normal damage.
2. <Need name>Turns your shield into a Storm Shield, which makes your normal attack throwing the shield like a boomerang, and having access to the other skill, which is an AoE skill which summons lightning which hits the shield to cause a shock to all mobs.
