After all the ruckus this week over the BBC's upcoming games announcement, it's turned out be a children's MMO. Bugger. Tronji World, named after the upcoming kid's series of the same name, is being developed by Cambridge-based Nice Tech. There are bugger all game details at the moment - or compelling reasons why you'd want to let your kids loose on an MMO - but Nice Tech has supplied a truckload of information on its 'real time' development process: "New builds are released and auto-updated every Friday, ensuring that no-one involved in the development and approval process is more than five working days behind", the company says. "Nice Tech believes that all parties should be able to provide immediate feedback, which is particularly important when working with such a strong client led IP". Sound like an erm, good idea. It's currently penned for an early 2008 release, with focus tests due to kick off shortly.
