Back in early January of this year I put together an article entitled, 鈥Ladies & Gentlemen, the MMOs of 2007鈥. Today, looking back at the MMOs slated for release 鈥MID 2007鈥, I was intrigued to find that ALL seven games listed have been delayed and now look likely to slip into 2008.
The MMOs once scheduled (or presumed) for launch around the Middle of 2007; THE CHRONICLES OF SPELLBORN, EXTEEL, GODS & HEROES: ROME RISING, HUXLEY, PIRATES OF THE BURNING SEA, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ONLINE and SUN (SOUL OF THE ULTIMATE NATION). Read it and weep.
What does this teach us about being an avid MMO fan? You need a thick skin, a healthy distrust of advance release dates and the patience of a freakin鈥 saint! And I鈥檒l also point out - the MMOs projected for 鈥LATE 2007鈥 ain鈥檛 looking very timely either.
