I was looking through some freeware files on a website and I ran across a program called Desktop Pen. It sounded real interesting when I was reading what it did. So I downloaded it. The file is not very big. So it takes up little room on your computer.

What is Desktop Pen?

The Desktop Pen is a program that allows you to write on your desktop with your mouse. You can click on the program and using your mouse you can write all over your screen.

How Does It Work?

You download Desktop Pen from somewhere like bestsoftware4download.com. Then install the program. Installation is easy, just extract it. Then open the desktop pen program. You will see a little bar at the top of your window. The first two squares are colors. Click on each color to change the color. This is the color that the pen will write. The next section is the size of the pen tip. The higher the number is the bigger the tip is. The next square is how you turn the pen on and off. Click it one time to turn it on and click it again to turn it off. The next square which has a sheet of paper on it will clear your screen. So, to clear your writing off of the screen, click on that square. The next square will create a blank canvas for you to write on. Clicking that square will turn your entire screen white. The next square will save the canvas that you write on. The last square is what you click to exit out of Desktop Pen.

So what can you use Desktop Pen for? I use it when I'm bored. I just write all over the screen. Other than that I really haven't found anything else for this program. The description says you can highlight things, underline things that you are reading, etc. But when you turn the pen on, it freezes your entire screen. So it's not like you can underline something and then scroll down. For some reason I was under the impression that you could. I don't see where you can highlight things either. You can underline stuff but if you mark over something to highlight it, it just marks it out.
