Hey Guys, so last night I made some Sauteed Parsley and Garlic Scallops with alfredo linguini.聽 The dish is pretty much pan-fried scallops with alfredo pasta.聽 Heres a picture what it SHOULD look like.

Ingredients
1 Jar of Alfredo
1 Pound of pasta (16oz)
聽 -Make sure it鈥檚 thin like spaghetti or linguini.
录 Teaspoon of Salt
录 Teaspoon of Pepper
2 Tablespoons of butter
2 and 录 teaspoons of olive oil (have two of these)
录 Cup of parsley
1 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
聽 -a clove is the small pieces inside a a whole garlic.聽 There should be around 8-11 cloves per garlic
16 Large sea scallops about 1陆 pounds
聽 -Try to find scallops that are numbered 15-25 (this means 15-25 scallops per pound)

Equipment:
Pasta Cooker
Frying Pan
Kitchen Timer (optional)

Preparation:
Have a separate bowl for the two olive oils, parsley, butter, garlic, and scallops.
Sprinkle the scallops with pepper and salt.
聽
Cooking the Pasta:
Grab a pasta cooker.聽 Fill it with 128oz of water or 16 cups.聽 Boil water.聽 Wait until water boils.聽 Then throw the pasta inside. Stir every once in a while.聽 Read the instruction label for cook time.聽 Once you鈥檝e reached desired cook time, turn off the stove.聽 Scoop pasta into a dry plate.聽
Testing pasta 鈥渁l dente鈥.聽 Grab a string of pasta and bite into it.聽 If you are satisfied with the softness, stop cooking it.

Cooking the Scallop:
1.聽 Heat frying pan and add 2录 聽聽teaspoons of olive oil and turn the heater to medium high heat.聽 Add half of your scallops for 2.5 minutes or until they seem golden.聽 Flip them and repeat the step.聽 Then set them aside and cook the other half of the scallop.
2.聽 Wipe pan with paper towel.聽 Reduce heat and cook butter until it melts.聽 Stir in garlic and parsley.聽 Cook for 15 seconds.聽 Add scallops and stir.聽 Set aside in a dish.

Final Touches:
Clean the frying pan.聽 Put your serving of pasta and pour enough alfredo to lightly coat the noodles.聽 Cook for 1-2 minutes or until alfredo is warmed.聽 Throw scallops in there for a few seconds.聽 And now it鈥檚 ready to be served.
