Now i've been playing a lot of fast paced fps games out there and i want to share my experiences with you.聽 Below are some reccomended titles
Deathmatch Games
Quake4/ Doom3
-fastest multiplayer games in the market!
-The storyline sucks (believe me!)
Team-based Games
Battlefield 2/ Quake Wars
-Vehicles (including air units)
-Classes
-Special In-Game Weapons
-Rank System
Zombies
Zombie Master(HL2 mod),/ Left4Dead (Not Released)
-Hordes of Zombies
-Limited Weapon
-Great fun!
FPS-RPG
Deus Ex/ System Shock
-Limited Inventory (for weapons and equipment)
-Augmentations (better accuracy, speed, etc)
-Great Storylines (Plot Twists, consipiracies, etc)
-Players Ability to choose in dialect (May change storyline and/or gain you items)
Now some of those above are the greatest games of their genre right now.聽 I've tried most of them and am currently on Tabula Rasa.聽 It is a MMO-TPS-RPG.聽 Freedom of aiming with the mouse (though lock-on helps), jumping, crouching, routes to complete quests and dungeons ... There are many arsenals from pistols to shotguns to magical staffs.聽 It has a compelling storyline to top it all off which most RPGs are missing.聽 I reccomend you try the beta right now(limited聽 keys!).聽 Check the link below.

Now my opinion of the Ultimate shooter has to be team-based like Quake Wars but Zombie titles like Left4Dead can be extreme.聽 By extreme I mean getting into the gameplay.聽 Quake Wars comes out in 2 days!聽 Left4Dead is out early 2008 till then, Tabula Rasa and Halo3 will fufill my FPS needs.
