So here we go my first article! :D

Hm what can I write about...

Ah I introduce you to my favorite MMORPG atm: Lineage 2

Well it`s actually a asia grinder as you call it, but it really starts when you reached a high level (70+), because L2 got a focus on mass pvp in the end game.

PVP:

There are siegeable castles / fortresses / clan halls and clan wars.

The pvp system is very open. You can attack just anybody and kill them. If they don´t attack back u will get a penality for killing them (Karma / PK point). While having Karma you can be killed without any penalities. In order to lose the Karma you have to kill mobs or die.

When you reached a count of 5 pk points you will drop items when you die! Before you reach 5 pk points you should definetly do the quest to reduce your pk points. Ofc just if you aren`t rich =P

Raid Bosses / Epic Bosses:

Yeah what to say about the bosses. There are a lot raid bosses in L2, sadly it`s not a big deal to kill them you just need 2-3 parties maybe also only 1 party if you have a good one. :D
The Raid Bosses drop nice items (full armors / weapons) and some drop the books for new buff slots!

Now about the epic bosses. They are even stronger than normal raid bosses!

To kill them you need way more ppl. They drop sepcial jewelery with some nice stats.

The low level bosses are mostly killed with a few minis and many  high level supporters.

Subclass:

Once you reaced level 75 you can get a subclass. Therefor you have to complete quests and hit Baium (Epic Boss). Yes you only need to hit him not to kill him. Most clans let ppl do the quest and then you should leave immediatly to get not pked by them =P

There are a few restrictions of which class you can choose as subclass.

If you are Elf race you can`t chose a Dark Elf class. Same goes the other way round.

You can`t chose the similar class to the ones you have already.

Similar classes are:

• Bladedancer / Swordsinger
• Hawkeye / Phantom Ranger / Silver Ranger
• Treasuer Hunter / Abyss Walker / Plains Walker
• Elementar Summoner / Warlock / Phantom Summoner
• Dark Avenger / Paladin / Shilien Knight / Temple Knight
• Spellsinger / Spellhowler / Sorcerer

Moreover nobody can sub the classes Overlord and Warsmith, they can only be played as main class.

Kamael race can only sub Kamael classes and the last subclass will be Inspector (not as main class available).

Nobless / Olympiad / Hero:

When your first subclass becomes level 75 you can become Nobless (the quests can be started earlier). A Nobless character has a few advantages. They can port to places which aren`t available for other players, they can summon cp potions (restore combat points; kind of hp only for pvps), they got a buff called Bless of Nobless (you don`t lose your buffs when you die, it lasts 1h) and you can participate in the Olympiad Games.

The Olympiad Games are a tournament where the best player of each class is ascertained. This player becomes Hero! :D

The hero gets a special weapon, a glow and he can use a world shout.

Hm so this is it for now, propably I forgot something important or nice feartures. :D

PS.: Yeah I know some classes in L2 aren`t that great to play, but if you know how to play those "sucky" classes you can kill many players. For example in c3 the Gladiator was a so called gimp. True he was weak, but still I know some Galdi players that kicked the asses of many omfgpwner classes. :D
