Luna Online Sneak Peek: Farms

Luna Online offers all kinds of fun non-combat activities, from trade skills like construction and deconstruction to vendoring, fishing, and farming. Today let's take a look at the latter option and finally answer the age old question "why would I want to take a break from slaying my enemies and raise vegetables on a farm anyway?"
Farming in Luna Online gives you a chance to earn powerful items and power-ups that are extremely difficult to earn any other way, and maybe even earn a little gold in the process. If you tend to your crops and keep them properly fertilized, some of the fruits and veggies you grow will contain rare items like upgrade scrolls -- power-ups that allow you to improve your weapons and armor, breathing new life into that old shield or making your latest and greatest bow even more legendary. You can also earn powerful accessories like magical rings and necklaces.
Farming's a family affair in Luna Online, so you'll need to be a member of a 5-person family in order to purchase and tend a farm. Think of families as mini-guilds - a group of 5 close friends that enjoy playing together and don't mind sharing the same last name. Once you purchase a farm, which requires 2 million gold and a level-50 family head, any member of the family will be able to use the farm to raise their own crops. Make sure your family is prepared for the responsibility though! Farms cost 500,000 gold a week to maintain, and with a limited number of farms available to purchase, you can bet that another family will jump on your valuable land if you fail to make a payment.

Unlike other areas in Luna Online, there's only one instance of the Alker Farm region per server rather than per channel. That means the entire server will be vying for the 60 available farm locations, making farms extremely valuable property and one of Luna Online's most valuable commodities. If you can afford the initial cost and upkeep, and are lucky enough to find some prime farming real estate, farms in Luna Online are a great way to make a small personal fortune for you and your family and to earn a steady supply of rare in-game items.
The Alker Farm region is also home to Fishercat, the very well-dressed Fishing Manager, but that's the subject of another blog post...

Sorry no edit button one thing I forgot to mention though I know there is a in game system to give anyone fighting a test and such to attepmt to kick them out ( at least in the one I played ) but it mostly affected people that were new and didn't even read how to answer the question given ect. but the bot's were not even phased by it, I know this was in a differnt version of Luna Online and not in the upcomming gpotatos version but I am kinda concered about this as I really want this game to take off and be great becasue I really love this game more than any other game I played.
While I have to say it's nice and all and I really would want one ( didnt ever get to see one in the other version i was in. ) What scares me though and really dose is and sorry I know this isn't probly the right place for this but how are the gold farmers and gold sellers gonna be dealt with, with the priceing for this and such just letting them leave from no sales is gonna be impossable becasue people are gonna start buying from them. I am praying that gpotato will come up with something to keep them out casue it's annoying as hell to see that spamm bot or those bot's just running around kiling low level stuff to get gold.
Cool
I want one farm
When the games become online, I will do my best to buy one
