Red 5 Studios announced today that the company's Vice President of Production and Operations, Taewon Yun, will speak at Game Developers Conference China. Attending the conference along with Yun will be former Blizzard members William Petras, Harley Huggins, and Brian Hsu. Red 5 will have a booth on the show floor, where the company will recruit and discuss their "vision for the next truly global MMO. Yun will lead a Q&A session and deliver a lecture about the globalization of MMOs. The co-founder of Blizzard Korea will talk about the advantages and pitfalls with bringing MMOs to the international market on Wednesday, August 29 at 9 AM. As we mentioned last weekend, John Woo's next film 赤壁 (The Battle of Red Cliff) is getting the MMORPG treatment courtesy of one of China's biggest game companies, Beijing Perfect World. And in fine Perfect World tradition, they've presented us with an almost unintelligible press release telling us so!
