Recently Ign has released its Top 100 Games of All Time for 2007 .

i have browse all the game listed in this Top 100 Games, and to my surprise d it seems that only one mmorpg made the cut - World of Warcraft

WOW came in at a dismal rank 83 --! and there is not any other mmorpgs in the list

.no Ultima Online ,Ever Quest,GuildWars,no Lineage II,no nothing.

IGN Editor : Our criteria for creating this list of our picks for the Top 100 Games of All Time are as follows:

  • Eligible games had to have been released no later than December 31, 2006 (perspective is a good thing)
  • A number of factors were taken into consideration when selecting a winner: How good the game was compared to others of its time, its overall game design, how well it stands up over the years, how influential it has been in the realm of gaming and just plain how much fun we had playing it are all points for contention.
  • The list is comprised of single, stand-alone titles and doesn't include compilations, expansion packs or add-ons.
  • Titles with multiple editions such as collector's boxes, gold editions or direct re-releases have been consolidated into one single entry, with the edition deemed most deserving taking precedence.

Marvel Universe Online is at the drama last week --!

The rumors continue to roll in concerning the current situation with Marvel Universe Online

1UP is reading between the lines for the most part do to some creative deflections from Cryptic President and co-founder Michael Lewis in recent interviews.

From 1UP:

Alan Wake, Banjo-Kazooie, Halo Wars and Too Human are all fine. However, 1UP has been told the Marvel, Microsoft and Cryptic Studios collaboration, Marvel Universe Online, has hit serious, potentially stalling, development troubles. Though the MMO hasn’t been outright canceled publicly just yet — albeit a move Microsoft hasn’t had an issue with before, says True Fantasy Live Online from beyond the grave — our word from the inside, combined with recent controversies surrounding the studio behind the game, raises serious suspicion.

In one such interview of Mike:

“What’s next for Cryptic Studios? Cryptic is developing new titles and new IPs, as well as expanding its business interests. We have a talented team of game developers and technicians, and a large part of our motivatation [sic] for this move was to free up resources for our future projects. With these new pro

Once upon a time, gamers had the choice of either high fantasy or alternate fantasy if they wanted to play a massively multiplayer online game. And although it is certainly the case that the fantasy genre still dominates the MMOG market, several new games released this week aim to add a bit more spice to one of the fastest-growing sectors of gaming.

On the family-friendly front, Disney Online has released Pirates of the Caribbean Online. Inspired by the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced summer blockbusters, which themselves took root from the classic Disney theme-park attraction, the MMOG lets aspiring swashbucklers captain a ship, steal booty, slay undead, and otherwise build a legend as the most well-intentioned knave on the Seven Seas. The game is available for both the PC and Mac. Players can play for free in a limited-access, ad-supported version of the game, with full access being granted for a first-month fee of $ 4.95 and a $ 9.95 charge each month thereafter. It is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older.

Playing off of the ghoulish frightfest that is (or at least used to be) Halloween, Flagship Studios has opened up Hellgate: London this week. Hellgate seeks to join first-person sh
