It's so surprised that  Shadowbane servers will be wiped clean in order to alleviate some of the problems that come from years of not cleaning house.

    We will be updating the Shadowbane Test Server with the first iteration of Patch 22 later this afternoon. There are a variety of changes associated with this update but most talked about development will be what we are referring to as "Shadowbane Reboot".

     The Shadowbane Team decided that it would be best for the longevity of the game to reset all server and character data and start from scratch. By doing so, the game benefits in a variety of ways. First, we feel the community will be better served by being more consolidated and less fragmented. Second, resetting the game removes items that have accumulated over the years that have caused imbalances to the game. In addition, numerous updates and enhancements have been made to the Shadowbane service to improve the performance. Video games and TV sets could be subject to a 1% sales tax in New Mexico if a coalition of environmental groups has its way.

              The tax idea, initiated by the Sierra Club, would raise an estimated $4 million a year, to fund programs aimed at giving school kids an outdoors education.

Michael Casaus, the New Mexico youth representative for the Sierra Club, referred to the tax proposal as part of the “Leave No Child Inside” movement, and said:

              We believe it is such a nominal tax that consumers won’t feel it too much, especially if they are educated about where that money goes.

McGraw : hackers who cheat in online games and are not detected can make tons of money selling virtual items in the middle market; the law says next to nothing about cheating in online games, so doing so is really not illegal

As a fans of anime,i dun noe why always the wonderful comics always come out in non-pc platform,such as ps2 ,Xbox306,Wii

we wanna to play excited anime (Naruto or DBZ) as a mmorpg game ,and i think it will a powerful games for us to play

maybe we will play DZB this year which i have to wait for another 6-8 months (maybe)

Sony Online Entertainment on Sunday denied an Indian media report that said Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd, part of the Anil Ambani-led ADAG group, was buying Sony Online and said the company was not up for sale. 
 
India's Economic Times, citing anonymous sources and an unnamed Zapak official, had earlier reported that Zapak was set to buy Sony Online for about $300 million.

"Sony Online Entertainment is not for sale and the report that Zapak is purchasing Sony Online Entertainment is completely erroneous and false," a company spokesperson for San Diego-based Sony Online told Reuters over telephone.

As 2007 comes to a close, I think its well worth discussing what a great year it has been for the company, and using that success as a platform for 2008 and beyond. We’ve had many exciting things happen this year, with much of it providing building blocks for even better years ahead of us.

First of course is the release of Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa in November, which is a big event in the history of this company and the fruit of much labor by many current and former employees worldwide...

Also in November we had even more exciting news. We absolutely love City of Heroes and we really wanted greatly to re-invest in the franchise; the question was how to do it in the best way possible...

In August we released Eye of the North, an expansion pack for the extremely popular Guild Wars franchise.
