0 Digg it    Will Diablo3 come on WWI2008?
  Views: 169  |  Category : Default |  Post time : Jun 24, 2008    Comments: 2  |  Bookmark
You may have noticed there's a mysterious wallpaper that in blizzard's official site two days ago.

What does it mean? A rune was found  in the wallpaper. Someone guess it's belong to rune of Frostmourn, and someone think it's the rune in diablo2. That's interesting because if it's the latter one, that means .... right, DIABLO3!!!

And official site updated the wallpaper yesterday, just the same scene, with two runes in it.

PS: In addition, there's a post on Gamespot that analyse why it's diablo3 not WOTLK.

Well, of course, I do expect it's the latter one. I've tried some diablo like game such as Titan Quests, Hellgate: London, Dungeon Siege and so on. They are good games too,  but none of these games give me the feeling when I was addicted in diablo series.

So, what's the answer? Let's expecting it on WWI2008!

1 Digg it    Runescape developer Jagex working on new MMO
  Views: 97  |  Category : Default |  Post time : Jun 22, 2008    Comments: 0  |  Bookmark

Runescape developer Jagex has revealed it is working on a brand new MMO due for launch in March 2009.

The unnamed MMO was revealed by CEO Geoff Iddison during a panel discussion at today’s GameHorizon Conference in Newcastle.

Dubbed ‘Nextscape’ by Iddison, the game was said to incorporate – as Runescape does – a variety of business and subscription models to drive consumer engagement, he said.

However, although the company has run its successful Runescape MMO since 2001 – offering biweekly content updates - with the new property due to join it early next year, Iddison said that Jagex’ real value isn’t its IP, but its infrastructure.

“We’ve got an infrastructure behind Runescape which is the real silver of the Jagex, the value of the company,” said Iddison. “It’s not the game, the game is going to come and go,” he said.

“The infrastructure is the thing that can scale. Runescape has 10 years of good growth – but the infrastructure is infinitely scalable,” he added of Jagex’ vast operation of servers and online support teams.

Although Jagex employs 400 people at its Cambridge, UK HQ,

0 Digg it    Spore Creature Creator is available now!
  Views: 117  |  Category : Default |  Post time : Jun 18, 2008    Comments: 0  |  Bookmark
What is spore? Maybe some of u have heard it, but for those who didn't, it's too hard to describe what is spore in some words. Because it's a complicated game with much fun.

Spore is a multi-genre "massively single-player online game" under development by Maxis and designed by Will Wright. The games and films with which Wright associated the various phases are:

   1. Pac-Man for the cell phase
   2. Diablo for the creature phase
   3. Populous for the tribal phase
   4. Simple versions of SimCity, Risk, and Civilization for the civilization phase
   5. SimEarth, Destroy All Humans!, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Trek and 2001: A Space Odyssey for the space phase, with elements of sandbox gameplay.

And recently Spore Creature Creator is released and I just tasted it yesterday. It's very funny I could say! So I even kept playing it until 4 am this morning.

U can see what creature other ppl have designed here:
http://www.youtube.com/spore

The full version of the game is due to be released on September 5, 2008 in Europe, and September 7, 2008 in North America and other territories. So I'm looking forward to this great

1 Digg it    My game life in AOC and a short review
  Views: 350  |  Category : Default |  Post time : Jun 13, 2008    Comments: 3  |  Bookmark
After long time waiting, I started my adventure on anticipated game AOC several day ago.

I should say it's a nightmare that to dowload nearly 2G patches online. It's quite annoying when you see the speed 4-10 KB/S ...  I wonder why didn't they make a manual patch to download?

Anyway I finished updating at last, and enter the world with excited heart. After type in my account and password, I need to create a new character. Yup u can customize many things as hair, eyes, chest, height... I can't count them all lol and I have no interest to waste time on customization. So I choose a Aquilonian  Barbarian and click "play" immediately!

WOW! I should say I was shocked by the graphic first. Of course u should have a good comptuer spec to set graphic to "High" quality. Unlike the cartoon style in WOW, the AOC's graphic is reallife style. So u can enjoy beautiful scene here.

Then I pick my first quest, free Casilda by finding key on some mobs. So the first combat in AOC start! I simply click 1, 2, 3 on my keyboard to attack monsters, and they are killed rapidly. I feel myself full of power lol, well it's just level 1 monster, should I be so proud? Ca

0 Digg it    AION US website alive! - Will it coming soon?
  Views: 151  |  Category : Default |  Post time : Jun 05, 2008    Comments: 2  |  Bookmark
Yes, it's ture, visit http://www.aiononline.com/us, the new website of US AION.

"When there are so many exciting things happening, it is hard to pick one or two topics to blog about. Aion’s development is progressing nicely, and will be showcased at a number of conventions in coming months, more staff will be brought on the team in the near future, and today marks the launch of the new US and European Aion websites. The former three topics are more appropriate for blogs from others on the team or future announcements; the latter is a topic I want to chat about."   -------------  NC Austin’s Community Relations Manager:   Charles ‘kieron’ Dane

So, after long time waiting, it's approaching. I'm looking forward to it although I'm playing Age of Conan now. I'm ready to start a fresh adventure.

Let's enjoy some new screenshots on the official site together:

There's a rumor that NHN Games will acquire Webzen several days ago. They denied it through announcement though, Webzen is still in a predicament.

And whether the rumor is ture or not, they are joining hands with each other this time at least. Hope Webzen can survive and make more good MMOs for us.

Publisher NHN USA, a subsidiary of Korean internet company NHN, has announced that it has secured the rights to publish the PC release of MMO first-person shooter Huxley in North America and Western Europe in late 2008. The title will arrive via gaming portal ijji.com. Details for publishing the Xbox 360 release were not revealed.

Developed by Seoul-based studio Webzen, Huxley combines the fast-paced gameplay of the first-person shooter genre with the character development of MMOs. The developer sold Huxley’s Chinese rights to MMO operator The9 for $35 million in February 2007.

NHN USA’s ijji.com portal claims over six million registered gamers. The site hosts a diverse selection of free-to-play online titles, each with optional micro-currency models offering purchasable in-game items. ijji.com currently hosts Gunbound Revolution, D

My company hold an auction last week, and I finally won a WII by costing 315010 points.

I'm looking forward to have it for a long time. As u know, a distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detect movement in three dimensions. That means, I can use it to play some sport games at home!

And later I bought some games such as

MARIO & SONIC At The Olympic Games

Biohazard4

WII SPORTS

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Ya, I really have fun with playing these games! I will buy another Wii Remote so that my friends can play it with me. So, crazy weekend, I'm coming!

  Views: 194  |  Category : Default |  Post time : May 28, 2008    Comments: 1  |  Bookmark

Online entertainment company KingsIsle Entertainment, Inc. today announced plans for Wizard101, an elaborate 3D virtual world in which magic and sorcery come to life as players embark on a quest that involves a massive cast of good, evil and frequently silly characters. Designed to fill the void between online play sites for the very young and Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games with mature adult interaction, Wizard101 (www.wizard101.com) puts players in the fantasy role of a Wizard apprentice at the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts.

"While the fantasy adventure storyline and collectible card elements of Wizard101 have broad appeal, as a parent I take the responsibility of creating a positive online environment for younger players very seriously," said KingsIsle CEO Elie Akilian. "Wizard101 is a destination for tweens and teens that's creative and witty, but still safe. We've set the bar high for this game."

J. Todd Coleman, an MMO veteran and the creative mind behind Wizard101, is heading up development of the game, which has been in the works for three years. In the game, players will adventure through magical 3D environments as they learn, collect and
