Sometime its really funny, for I have a great fate with bots...wherever I play a mmorpg, I see them. They exist everywhere and they can be in any mmorpg, I can say that I was really impressed by them, for they made so great effort and so many hardwork to program such bot because of wanted to own everyone in the game. I dont know how to describe this kind of people who likes to use bot to play their game...either they really loved this game so much that they cant afford to lose anything, or they really lazy bump not even want to use their finger to press the keyboard, or they really x99 busy to invest their valuable time to grind on their character lvl, or they have a really evil motive wanted to destroy the game. Any of them is doing no good to mmorpg, and many mmorpg has been destroyed because of them.
What is a BOT? Well a bot is a program to control your character to do automated task in game such as leveling, looting, pathfinding and so on. Its easy to see the bot because they repeatedly doing the same thing and they NEVER TALK human. Some of them will answer you by the preset dialog such as "Im busy" "Sorry" "F**k off!" etc so that others wont disturb them and think of them as human. But they always failed to do so because nobody will keep on answering the same thing and doing the same thing in the same map for聽wholeday, its just...inhuman XD
Long time ago I saw bots in Ragnarok Online, Im not the first to say so no offense and I think everyone who is familiar with it knows the Kore bot, it has become so perfect that u can bot ur character from lvl1 to lvl99, auto buy pot, auto buy equipment, auto teleport, everythings auto, so convenient! I also only know it when my friend show me the program. Its spectacular that everyone in the server reach lvl99 and glowing so bright, everyone so rich and all the deals are in billions, inflation, number game, just a headgear can cost billions zeny...thats sick and thats the reason why I quit it. Today, I saw them again. Not in the mmorpg that I am playing, but in Perfect World which my younger brother is playing. I never thought that I can saw bots in Perfect World, because from what I see it is a very popular mmorpg that has a great reputation in asia, it has large amount of players, the player community is nice, and I see their GM is responsive not like other mmorpg I saw which can never see any GM around. It was a shocked that I can see bots in Perfect World, and its really sad, because I can see another nice mmorpg is going to be end soon. Im not talking bullfeces but its a fact that many mmorpg has been destroyed because of bots, who can deny that there is any mmorpg out there which still can make money with bot intrusion in their game?
With bot exist, players will start to complaint, every leveling spot is fully occupied by bots, players cant level at all and hatred arise, worst come, the chaos. When this happen, those who play fair and spent their money playing this game will start leaving, only left those who spend less or never at all. Rumors fly everywhere, public noticed, situation get worst, no newcomer, no new blood, no profit, no income, expenses still running, cant afford the server fees, server close, byebye and hope to see u again...is it not a sad thing that a nice mmorpg happen like that?
So why bot? why bot when u actually love this game? why bot when u dont have time to play? If u want to play this game, then play it like the way u play a game, if u want to bot, why play? Thats what I really dont understand. Many answer I heard from others reply, some of them comment nice, and some of them flaming heavily. People who comment nice is those who hate bots, while people who flame is those who use bot. Here I dont need to mention how they flame, I can tell u there is no good words from them, imagine urself ^^. Most of the reason I heard those people flaming why they use bot and how good to use a bot is because they can own other by having highest lvl or by rare equipment, and they feel so nice to be on top, how they felt others is foolish spending their time sitting there grinding so hard while their bots working for them non-stop without their existence and attention, they only "harvest" their fruit of success when they come back from school or entertainment. So how u feel when u heard this? I must admit they do sound make sense and lmao but I dont agree to them, because as what I said, why play it if u already intended to bot it in early? U should already know the answer that using a bot can make u owning the game, its like using a god mode cheat in game, what fun can u get when u know already that u will win the game?
For those botters, what if I asked u that leave us those who u think foolish to play the game in proper way and let us have the fun in game? U may not like the game or the company which runs the game, whatever, but it is too selfish for u to use bot in the game because of ur self-egoness...ur behaviour is destroying the game, and if every game has botters, then every game will be doomed. We can protest and yell to the game GM to catch and banned u all, but I know u guys are powerful and u will not stop, u can create millions of account to play, if u have to, and u can hack everytime there is a new patch that block the bots, if u want to, so nothing can stop u, not GM, not the company.
Well...I think its impossible to get rid of botters in nowaday mmorpg. Many efforts and improvement has most of the game company do to prevent bot, but its still like pouring a drop of water into a house of fire, cant do anything...like I said, IF they want. I hope there will be less bot in future mmorpg, but may be I cant see that days coming, because I will not always young, and I will not forever sticking into mmorpg, and thats regretful...
Perfect World Bot. See them in the Red Box, easy to recognize them isnt it? =) They always stick together and they always "Gang" =P
