Pac-man is universally considered as one of the classics of the medium, virtually synonymous with video games. The player controls Pac-Man through a maze, eating pac-dots. When all dots are eaten, Pac-Man is taken to the next stage.

As a social phenomenon that sold a bevy of merchandise and also has many fans, Pac-man is everywhere in our world. Lol~~ look!

  Views: 53  |  Category : Default |  Post time : Jun 15, 2008    Comments: 0  |  Bookmark

Expect a major PvP update in June; new areas, dungeons, Powerpoints and Guild Alliance warfare to come.

News via IGN:
After the incredible initial success for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, a whole world of MMO players are eagerly anticipating the future plans for one of the most popular online games ever released. While Age of Conan has already evolved massively since launch, numerous expansive additions are yet to come. Funcom and Eidos are therefore proud to lift the veil on Age of Conan's promising future, and today the two companies reveal selected features which are now in production.

"While we have enjoyed the initial success for Age of Conan, we know that a solid launch is just the beginning when it comes to the MMO genre," said Gaute Godager, Game Director on Age of Conan. "In the months ahead we are preparing a huge amount of new content, and what we are presenting today will evolve Age of Conan even further. It's naturally an incredibly ambitious update plan for a live MMO game, but we are certain our players would want nothing less."

Without further ado, here are some of the cool things to expect in the months to come:

Continuing its quest to bolster the Xbox 360's Japanese profile, a Microsoft Japan press conference has showcased Square Enix's Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant, and Star Ocean for the console - with Namco Bandai also revealing a Tales of Vesperia Xbox 360 bundle for Japan.

Square Enix announced that Infinite Undiscovery, an Xbox 360-exclusive RPG developed by tri-Ace, will ship in North America on September 2nd, 2008, followed by its release in Europe and other PAL territories on September 5th and in Japan on September 11th.

Square Enix's The Last Remant, under development for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, will release globally for the Xbox 360 winter 2008. Star Ocean: The Last Hope, another Xbox 360 exclusive developed by tri-Ace, is scheduled for 2009.

0 Digg it    Age of Conan Ships Without DirectX 10
  Views: 133  |  Category : Default |  Post time : May 20, 2008    Comments: 2  |  Bookmark
Funcom officially confirmed that the DirectX 10 version of the company's MMORPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures won't ship during the initial launch. The launch takes place this week (starting tomorrow, to be exact - with the European launch following on May 23).

Apparently they need more time to add extra features. Here's the word:

"While Funcom is thrilled with the early success of Age of Conan, and proud of the game launching this week, the company regrets to inform gamers that the DirectX 10 version of the game will not ship with the initial launch. As Microsoft’s DirectX 10 is undoubtedly the future of PC gaming, Funcom has decided to ship only the DirectX 9 version at launch, giving the team more time to focus on building a DirectX 10 version worthy of Microsoft’s great vision for the future of PC gaming. This postponement will let Funcom include even more features in the DirectX 10 version of Age of Conan than originally planned."

"The DirectX 10 version will be premiered at the German Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, August 20 – 24, 2008. A special preview showing off the advanced graphics made
