Everyone knows that blogging for MMOSite is one of the 7 pleasures left in today's world, that can completely consume your soul. The problem is how do we write an article that satisfies our narcissistic need to see our own article featured in that top left window to glory. Many have blogged their hearts out but only a set few have made it. It makes one start to question themselves, does my writing suck? Am I not on the cutting edge of gaming and pop culture? Is my opinion really irrelevant? All those things just may be true! In the off chance that they aren't though here are a few suggestions, my top ten tips,  to get your own feature article into the Valhalla which is the MMOSITE front page.

Tip #1 It's all about the article. Write the best article you can possibly write! Though the concept may seem a bit foreign you may want to proofread whatever it is that you wrote. The first step to having everyone respect and enjoy your idea is to make sure that they can understand it!

Tip #2 Article length is important try to write an article that you, would read in it's entirety. It's trying to balance the fine line between your article being way to short to be a feature and your article being an epic poem thats taught in high school English. Yes we all read, but your long articles are crunching into game time.

Tip #3 Article content has to be relevant we are a game community, so right new exciting things that relate to games. This has to be the hardest part of article writing because you end up asking what is there to write about? Which leads to the next few tips a break down of the type of articles one can write.

Tip #4 You could review all aspects of your favorite game. Give an in depth review on the good and bad of the game that your currently playing especially if you have something new or interesting to say. Maybe you noticed that the game's music loops and hangs and nobody ever noticed. Write it, that means you have some sort of observational skill and if you comment appropriately, it will qualify as being insightful

Tip #5 If the developers just released a nugget about a new game, game closure, new spectacular money event, birth of a clone dinosaur, you can re-report that and it will be fine. Bring the news back in your own words to MMOSITE. It seems to be the most tried and true way onto the main page. Bringing fresh news from the gaming industry delicious.

Tip #6 Write something funny. humor never hurts. Unless it's hurtful and even then it doesn't really hurt. If you like seeing how the developers found ways to creatively show the female avatars boobs, and you simply love it. Write about it. Maybe they added a fart emoticon that ground breaking flatulence is a good read.

Tip #7 Don't forget to include some pictures or videos, because pictures and sounds make reading easy and fun. We like Pics and Vids.

Tip #8 Let everyone everywhere know that you just wrote an article worth reading the noble prize of game writing. Post a link all over the place

Tip #9 Beg and flame. Well this tip may not help you get your article out, but since your going to do it anyway you might as well do it right. Show just how ignorant you can be if you don't get your way!

Tip #10 If all else fails write a Top 10 list and hope it gets adapted. Thats what I did. We love us a well formed list. Yes we do.
