First I'd like to say by the title you are probably going to expect me to defend the whole idea of having sexual activities in an online mmo game. Well that is not at all what I am about to do. Though I'm going to object to it a lot and I do mean a lot I will also not deny the right of freedom in america to publish such things, but Reverse is not published in America so that kind of shatters that ideal now doesn't it. Regardless I will make my point.

Alright so I went to check and see what all the hub-bub was about by clicking the little thing that took me to the news section about Reverse. Figuring there has to be something up if a game can pull in so much distate towards itself. Though in the clips and the video it did not show actual sex one has to realize, and this is pretty obvious people; MMOSITE is not an 18 plus website so it is not allowed to show that being that all members can access that not to mention guest, because I was not even signed in when I read the article and looked over the video clip. As far as game play goes, and fighting it looks pretty cool, but back to the main topic at hand.

So many people were putting it all on the parents for buying games for their kids that were not appropriate. Alright, that does happen, but why on earth do you think it is just parents complaining about this? For example there are people out there who are literally offended at the sight, and/or thought of seeing others having sex or show great effection toward one another. There are even many religions in such cases that prohibit such behavior until marriage. I mean those who actually follow the religion tooth and nail. Not losely.

I will make my case with this. I myself am Angnostic, and only 19, but I find it completely revolting that they would put sex in a game where you can walk around and just (pardon my french) Fuck(well it's not french, but I am) each other at will. Not to mention the clothes are very exposing. The girls are in thongs showing off very full rears(in most cases from what I saw). The males can grope not only the backside of a female, but their breasts as well. This is just down right unacceptable by modern society. It's kind of like trying to slip playboy into a magazine and say "Oh but the magazine had 18 and up on the label"

Yes, we have it in movies, and yes we have it in books. However there is a far more strict regulation on movies and books. When you are purchasing a ticket for a movie that is rated R the person asks for id, and if you are under age you MUST have a guardian present. If you do not meet these qualifications then you are not admitted in. Now with books it's a bit more laxed because not too many people care to either know or read that much of the book to know it has sex. Sadly to say most people today do not read all that much T_T

It's pretty much the company selling a big sex factor to draw in more people. After all you are bound to have people who only play the game for that attribute, and as morally degrading as that is for society what does it mean for the company? Simply that they get more money. Not too many companies now care much about their supporters or customers. It's really all about how they can pull in more customers and gather more money. Of course they have to make it look like they care.

As for this next comment I ask all those that it does not apply to, to either disreguard it or accept my appologies.

What we are doing by accepting such a standarad in a game is crippling our own morals. We do have pornography in this nation already, and even digital pornography which in that case I don't understand one bit. Moreover we can not sit back and just let more smut come into our country and act like it is an every day thing or our nation will become perverse. So please do not be perverted creatures stalking lust in all it's wiles through the night.

Now am I saying Korea is a perverted country, and ruled by a perverse society?

Not at all. The people who made this game maybe perverts, and they may not. I will say this though. As much as I disagree with the whole idea of having random sex throughout a game. They were smart for doing it. Lets face it most of the world is ruled by immoral perverts.
