First things first I must say that when I downloaded this game to try it out, it made me feel like i was going to be a part of something epic! The reason being is that the introduction video makes everything look so dramatic, and then looking over all the races how they have their own sidestories really made it come to life for me. This is all before I even was able to open up the game. So when I did get around to it and the thing patched up all nicely there was this scene going on in the background taking me through a dock it looked like, and I was a slight bit amazed, and for a second I forgot that this thing was a game and not a show or movie of some sort. For that matter I started to wonder how to start the game when I got the idea it was a game again. So I started pressing buttons and clicking around, and like magic the server selection popped up. Oddly enough there are a lot of servers and most of them are full the entire time, that should tell you something right there.

Regardless when I got into the game and started creating a character at first I was kind of dissapointed by how the faces really looked. Then again it was more the starting clothes that bothered me. However I decided to give this game a fair chance after all that is what a good gamer does ^_~. Making a character was slightly more complicated then I imagined though. Not in the fact of what you want to be but where you want to be from. There is Europeans and Oriental characters each rich with their own backgrounds, stories, and best of all, monsters. Each land was very different and unique though a tad bit complex for a noob which I was at the time. So I figured "I'll make one of each!" I did, and I was very pleased with the side effect of doing so.

The skill system is hardly difficult to function, you read over the little picture by putting your mouse on it and figure out if this is the skill you want to master depending on if it matches your class and the weapon you are holding. After you level up the mastery to a certain point you gain a skill to use, that simple. With that much being said I enjoyed the different classes very much. Though to be honest I never tried out the Bard, that simply is not my type of character. Though for those of you who like that sort of thing...THERE IS A BARD.

Then while I was playing and killing so many monsters I noticed this yellow bar filling up then going back down over and over again. Confusion struck and I just ignored it after all it was not harming me any. Then a little while later I saw these red bubbles by my avitar completely full and blinking. So I was curious and clicked it.

BAM!

My character started glowing red with a huge aura and grew horns. I was blinking in shock and tried to attack something and wipped that sucker out! This nifty little feature is called Beserk. Which I happen to love so very much, it makes you faster and stronger. If you ever play though remember you can always run to go get help on stronger monsters in beserk mode. MAKES YA FASTA MOFO!

Anywho the fighting is awesome as well, sorry for the lack of a good synonym for awesome. To put it simply they actually have fighting styles you're not just swinging wildly in the same fashion over and over again. Then when some monsters die it's goreeeeeeee all over the place let me tell you. >.> a plus in my book.

The quest system is pretty much the same as it is in almost every mmo. You know you go talk to someone they tell you what to do and you go do it then come back. The grind is not really that obvious if you're playing just for fun and not to find out what comes next. The quests are not too difficult until they ask you to kill monsters like Cerebus~cough~ Either way the quest system is NOT confusing at all.

Overall playing the game DID make me feel like I was a part of something epic. I do love the game so very much, but I do not think I will be going back to play it any time soon. Sure I will play it later in life you can count on that, but not now, oh no not for Jo.

Catch you young cats later. By the way I do suggest this game.<3
