Well it's time for聽 me to make another blog peoples, and this time it's going to be about one of my newly found favorite games.聽 I am of course speaking of Cabal. Now since I live in american and am an American citizen(don't let this confuse you I'm French) I had to wait for the American open beta and didn't even hear of the closed beta about Cabal. Either way I looked over the EU version a long time ago and loved it just from the screen shots and videos. I had planned on getting around the IP ban but due to me being lazy at times, and college work kicking me in the arse I didn't get around to doing that. Which is probably a good thing.
I'll put it this way, Cabal was worth the wait.(of course this is my opinion) Now let me explain. Cabal features a different type of combat called force I guess one could compare this to magic since it pretty much is that if you want to get technical about it. What i'm about to delve into, you just might want to get technical. I have never been so happy with the outcome of a game I had been awaiting until Cabal hit the scene for America. This is the only game where I have enjoyed playing a class known to be the healer. In this game it is a force shielder.
Quick segment: Force is the 'magic' controlled through stones, or rubies one wears. They are usually stocked on gloves and聽 help a great deal for combat. A good example of this is the Archer or "Force Archer" uses these rubies, or stones on his gloves(you have to get the stones seperate from the gloves) and his control of force to literally summon his/her bow. As such all his shots are some sort of magic. In essence you buy NO arrows for the archer. Which is pretty nifty if I do say so myself.聽 Some skills for the Archer are just like the wizard and don't need a bow.
The quest system actually tells you a story if you take the time to read it. I suggest that you do so you don't run around confused trying to figure things out. However if you want to level pretty fast then skip the introduction to the quest and go head on into the quest of gathering items, talking to people, killing monsters, going through dungeons, and gathering experience then i suggest it. On a side note you gain experience for every hit you connect with against a monster. How sexy is that? To answer that question let me say: very. Now there are other games like that, but I'm just saying that is something I highly enjoy in an mmo.
Like most gamers you want to know about the community. Other than the few immature people on there(a lot less on this game than on holic trust me) they are a bunch of very friendly people, and I love the community for it. You'll randomly get guild invites not because people want to boost their guild but they actually want to help. Info from others that will in fact help you throughout the game.
I could go on and on about this game, but I really don't want to give away every little detail about the game, such as what the warp zones are. Yep you'll have to figure this out on your own. Well have fun!<3
