To be honest when I first came to this site I saw it as nothing more than a place where I could farm for games to play(you know just to pass the time). Maybe even find some game out there that would keep me hooked for a long period of time, and when I came across the site the prospect of that was just down right awesome. Regardless I started playing any game I could find on the site even the ones that at first did not look like they would keep my interest. Which obviously led to me finding out the hard way how to pick and choose my games, or at least which ones I want to invest a lot of time in.
So months would pass before I would even notice the little blog section of the site. At first I just figured it was something along the lines of people posting about their days or things like that. Thankfully I came across an article that made me see the light so to speak. This section was for gamers to report on their findings or to recruit other gamers to play a certain game with them. Those however were only two examples of what could be done with the blog section of this site.
No matter I did not start off posting anything wonderful because I was still wet behind the ears unfortunately and my words were all gibberish sadly. Eventually I read something about a game I do believe it was "reverse" or something along those lines, and this game struck me enough to type up a very in detailed article about what I think on the matter. Sure enough this was my first recommended batch of work. Though I had never typed anything with the intention of it being recommended I loved the fact that my ideas meant something.
That was when it all started: I actually began to try to type things that would make some sort of impact on the gaming community. So I was really wanting to be recommended, but not for personal glory. Not at all, I just wanted to try and give an alternative prospective on the gaming world. This entire Blog section is a community in it's own right after all so I figured why not fit in with it, and try to make it a good community. Next thing I knew article after article became more pleasant to the readers because I put feeling and emotion behind them.
Though through the course of my stay on MMOsite I have also had my share of hatred, or flaming come my way, and yes for reasons I am not even sure of. Yet I wont complain I'll just say that I will never understand why people in any community would rather start drama instead of be polite with those around them. After all that's the best way to make friends, have a pleasant experience, and just over all have fun. Moreover I realized that no matter where I go, and what I do people will always be out there to instigate such situations, and as such I should just let it go. So I did, and so I do.
By this time I was still not in the writers club in fact I knew nothing of it. Truth be told I did not ask to join but was invited by a very kind person whose name shall not be mentioned. The reason being that I really would not like people bothering him daily. Though it is open to anyone who wants to join.
Finally we come to the part where I had my darling Bunny join, and she was a very welcomed part of the community. The only problem was that people were hitting on her constantly, but that was another story. It even got down to the point that someone openly admited to me that they would stalk her. Creepy!
Moving on! Lastly I find myself here typing all of this to you wonderful readers with the hopes you will keep coming back to read more of my articles and enjoy them
~joy to you all
