First I would like to clear up some misunderstandings about this game considering how it was viewed in the direct focus. This game has been compared to the hit show "Yu-Gi-Oh" and has led people to believe it is much like a table top trading card game style MMORPG regardless of screen shots. When one compares two things like that it is hard to counter unless the game is played by the person who is considering it or a lot of information is given. The only thing that is alike in the two game, or the only things rather would be the fact you gain monsters as items through cards which I will explain later, and the fact it is a virtual world. For those of you who do not know in one segment of the "Yu-Gi-Oh" series they went into a virtual reality world and summed the creatures through cards.

Now lets go into detail about the card based monster summoning in the game. They are not really called monsters but mercs or mercenaries. Which to put simply are soldiers for hire. In this case you must defeat the monsters in order to gain them, but this can be a taxing process being that the monsters must drop cards that you pick up as an item in order to summon them. As such it can be rather hard to gain the merc you want or even come close to it. After which when you do have the card you slide it down to your quick keys and put it on the 1~0 side of the hot keys which is located to the bottom left. On the other side are the hotkeys F1~F10 which are used for your magic or warrior skills.

The game itself is pretty simple to operate and once inside it takes a whole of three minutes to figure out. A nice feature on this game is the kill ration, but one can not really call this a ratio. It displays how many monsters you have killed up to one-hundred. Every fifty kills you gain a Joker Merc at your side. It does not stay yours forever, but when its time runs out it vanishes. However this Joker Merc is very useful since it is a high level card. Think of all your cards as a small army to manipulate and destroy your opponents.

Now be fair warned that using a multitude of cards one an enemy can drastically decrease the amount of experience you get. Needless to say this only applies to enemies that are at the same level as you. So if you are looking to do heavy grinding I suggest you do not use your cards, unless you are trying to take out a monster two or three levels above you. Other wise it will be a long and boring process, even though grinding in general is pretty tedious feeling and dull at that.

In addition there are some monsters that you absolutely must use cards on unless you are a few levels above said monster, but even then it鈥檚 advisable to use it. These monsters can summon back up to help them, one such creature is the abyss rider, or dark rider. Once you are level ten there is an area that is safe to go and hunt down monsters outside of another town. The said creature above is a black knight riding a black horse. When attacking him he will fight back of course but once you start to inflict heavy damage he summons more knights around him called riders to attack you. I鈥檓 not saying one or two, no it鈥檚 more along the lines of four or five on each side of him. That may be a slight exaggeration, but I assure you it is only a slight exaggeration.

That is pretty unique for a monster battle in a game that is not really considered a boss battle for it to be that challenging. Sad thing is for the player that most monsters like that you wont know they do that until you face them, and on top of that most of them are for quests. So one way or another you are going to have to fight one. Moreover they are aggressive so they will chase you down to pick you off. That is not a fun way to go out, but you can always boast about being able to stand up to such a creature and live for a certain amount of time.

Also do not fret, you can get the card to summon these monsters. Well you can get the recipe to create the card to summon these monsters more than likely. In other words it鈥檚 harder to get the card to simply summon such creatures than it is to get the recipe card. Which in itself is a conundrum being that you still need the regular summoning card to use the recipe. All recipe鈥檚 do is create a stronger version of the card you have and they usually require the amount of cards it has a plus by on the recipe. For example if a recipe said 鈥淏ig Ant +4鈥 You will need four Big Ant cards to make one plus four card.

The game is very innovative in the way it is created and I personally have not seen a game like it in my gaming life. So far I do suggest playing it. However right now they are having a bit of server problems so I do not suggest downloading it right this second unless you will wait and play it later. As such if you do decide to go that route then I would recommend you have something else to play while you wait.

The community of this game varies greatly from in game to out of the game. People tend to act more mature in the game than they do on the free boards of the game. There is also a forum set up for the game by a player named Xyros, and it has a much better community and will help one get familiar with the game a lot easier. Below is the link:

My rating of this game thus far would be an

8/10

The quest system is like most others where you talk to the npc鈥檚 to gain more experience and what have you, but it also tells a story which I know a lot of you players out there love. Most of them have been to gather items or kill monsters, but there is not a lot of room to do things with quests in a game generally other than the talk to this npc and they will give you so on and so forth which is also inside of this games make up so not to worry.

All and all it is a pretty stable game, but it has very unstable servers. Being that it is hosted by gamengame this does not surprise me. For one company they host a lot of games as such their gm鈥檚 are spread out pretty wide not giving them a lot of time to generate help for all the games. They did an excellent job with Lunia even though others would disagree so simply ignore the free bulletin board comments seeing as most of them are immature ramblings and enjoy the game when it is fully ready to go.

Once again this game is worth waiting for if you have something to play in the mean time. Otherwise do you attempt to just sit there and wait for the game it will become very frustrating.

oh btw if u go to towns....find merc shop...it sells the normal version of the mercs and u can purchase em but of course...they are abit expensive for ppl new to the game

upgrading a card to the next requires 2 cards of the grade below ur desired grade and u need the recipe which can also be gotten from npc or if ur lucky they can be dropped from some monsters(basically if u want a grade 3 card u need 2 grade 2 cards and the recipe needed for a grade 3 card)

Wow, I haven't been able to make a character yet because of how evil the server is...
