Epic fail in the execution of it, though.  Those of you who go to school with me have probably heard this 100,000 x 10 twenty-third power today, but I must write it again!!

Today, after B1, first class of the day, I head down the stairs on my way to the bus to take me to Hanover for my next 2 classes.  Today, I stated that I WOULD walk up to that Asian guy (who turns out to be a freshman *cries in protest* But!  I shall overcome my policy of dating older guys only, I mean, Im only older by 2 years, big wup-dee-doo!) and introduce myself.

I see Sarah first and I say hi to her and I do a slow motion walk, waiting for him to come out of the 200s hall so I can get this over with.  I see him come out of the hall in the corner of my eye and I turn around and cut in front of him and say "Excuse me..."  By now my nerves are fried.  He was looking at me~...wtf, he dodged me!  I turn around again, while he's heading for the stairs.  He probably thought I needed to get by him... "Excuse me!"  He turns back around and stares.  Now my nerves are microscopic dust.  I don't remember what exactly I said but it went along the lines of "Um...I've noticed you the past few weeks in the hallway and I would like to be your friend...I mean, if that's okay with you...It's up to you and......."  His 2 friends are flanking him now.  GO AWAY!!! *panic*  "This is awkward....Umm......See you later!!"  *runs in terror*

He probably thinks Im a weirdo!!  Now, my B-days are going to be awkward and he'll remember the creepy black chick who tried to hit on him!

But, Shao Ching, my friend, was at the top of the stairs when he eventually came up (she told me this later today) and said that he had come up the stairs smiling.  I hope that's a good thing!  Maybe Im the only girl who's dared to approach his mesmerizing stare????

But! Shao Ching also said, "What if he doesn't speak English?"  That put a HUGE seed of doubt in my already panic-stricken thoughts.  So....a creepy black chick's mouth was opening and closing and he had no idea what I was talking about?!  That's even worst than him knowing what I was talking about!!  I hope he does speak English, if not fluently...

So that's my day so far......Monday is going to be REALLY weird....
