I feel sorry to mention this news, Jesus Christ  approximately 90 employees lost their jobs in Nexon's development studio lacated at Vancouver yesterday (Jan.27th), and the studio was now shuttered. According to Kotaku's report, one of their tipsters indicates that the news came by way of a studio-wide meeting in the morning on Jan. 27, which was expected to result in only half of the workforce being let go.

The Vancouver studio was actively working on the development of Nexon titles. The company's existing properties - MapleStory, Combat Arms, Mabinogi, etc. - should not be affected by this closure.

For me, Nexon will always be in my heart for having created Mabinogi (As far as I know, Mabinogi was developed by one of their studios, DevCat), actually I've no idea they got a base in Vancouver. Anyone tells me what games made by Vancouver Studio?

In the network, Nobody really knows who you are. By wearing a mask, everyone definetely could become the one he wanna be, setting up a different life in the virtual world, even the dark side. Yesterday an article on IGN.com caught my eye, which reported a Italian woman who desired to be a prostitute,  live out her sexual fantasies as an online escort.

Palela Alderson, the woman in the story, is 26 years old, single in real-life. She says Second Life let her dream "be a prostitute" come true. Her desired to be bought and used as pleasure could not be carried out in her normal life because Palela was afraid of being discovered by her family. She thought they would never accept it.

"And I didn't want to hurt them or make them ashamed of me. They have done so much for me, I wanted to be the good girl that they raised. " Palela said.

However she added. "If I hadn't had a family, I wouldn't have hesitated." So when she met Second Life in 2006, she finally saw the light of hope. then "in the summer of 2007 I heard that there were sexual aspects to Second Life, and I had the idea that this could be a way to live out my dark fantasy life without my fa

Captain Price: [door starts to open slowly] Gaz, can't you make it open faster?
Gaz: Negative, sir. But you can try pulling if it'll make you feel better.
Captain Price: Cheeky bastard. . .

Gaz: The sins of our fathers. . .
SSgt. Griggs: Ain't it a bitch?

Captain Price: The Loyalists are expecting us half a click to the north. Move out.
Gaz: Loyalists, eh? Are those the good Russians or the bad Russians?
Captain Price: Well, they won't shoot at us on sight, if that's what you're asking.
Gaz: Yeah, well that's good enough for me, sir.

Gaz: Rules of engagement, sir?
Captain Price: Crew expendable.

SAS Leader: We're going deep and we're going hard
SAS: Surely, you can't be serious?
SAS Leader: I'm serious. And don't call me Shirley.

Quote from news:

Wrathreview2

A 17-year-old World of Warcraft fan from Ohio found himself in police custody recently after threatening to commit suicide while speaking to a representative for the game, reports the Middletown Journal.

During an online conversation with a representative from Blizzard Entertainment, the unnamed teen said "he was suicidal and that the game is the only thing he has to live for." The representative subsequently contacted local police who, along with paramedics, responded to the claim.

The police report has the teen saying the threat was a joke "to try to get what he wanted for the game." He was later released into the custody of his father.

Though the article offers no word on what legal ramifications the boy may face for his threat, it's important to note that, regardless of the psychosocial implications of criminalizing such things, threats of suicide are a first-degree misdemeanor in Ohio.

See, it shows at least one negativity that Blizzard fears to face since its world-wide success World of Warcraft gets so welcomed, but I'm glad Blizzard took a serious act
