Alright everyone, I'm going to go on a bit of a rant today, because for once, something has actually made me rather peeved, and that's hard to do to me. =P This is for all the Grand Chase players out there who've seen the new patch, and let me tell ya, this isn't going to be pretty.

If you play Ntreev's North American version of Grand Chase, you'll notice they recently had an update. A rather outstanding update for the most part, making map switching easier, tweaking some in-game communication features, and throwing in a new dungeon to play, complete with a tough boss. All of that gets them five gold stars, a hardy pat on the back, and an A+ for effort. So why in the WORLD would they want to null all of that wonderful work, with one VERY stupid decision? If you've seen the patch, you probably know what I'm about to say, but if you haven't let me clue you in.

Ntreev decided to add some sort of contrived platform jumping room, into just about every dungeon in the game. These rooms have no monsters, force you to climb up very small, hard to jump to platforms to reach the top so you can continue on to the next room, and to top it all off, have a nice big chasm of death waiting

Alright, for those of you who did not know, Sakura-con, a large anime/gaming convention in Seattle, happend last weekend, and I was lucky enough to get to go. ^_^ They had all sorts of interesting things to see and do, game tables set up all over the place, with a large set up for Rock Band and Guitar hero. There was a ton of anime stuff to see and buy in the exhibition hall, and of course, a lot of people dressed up for the occasion with cosplay costumes galore. It was a great time, though I will never understand why the security was a bunch of old people. How exactly is a 76 year old man going to stop a cloud wannabe with a GIANT useable weapon from breaking the rules? He's not, end of discussion. =P I had a lot of fun, it's always much better to go with a group of friends to these conventions, remember that folks Being in a gaggle of people you don't know wearing funny costunmes and weilding weapons without any sort of friendly face beside ya just kinda kills the experience. And for all you nerdy guys out there who think there aren't any nerdy ladies who share your passion for anime and games, guess again. There were more females than you could shake a stick at. Very pretty
