Rohan will be holding an 50% increased EXP event for 4 days. This will last from 7/31 12:00AM - 8/4 12:00 AM PDT across all servers. This EXP bonus will stack with all of the Item Mall EXP items as well so please make sure you take full advantage of this boost.

Why with the rising cost of dream stone powder, the impending closure of the Eversun bank, and the horrible fixed rate Guild Cottage crisis, citizens are worried and changes must be made.

So effective Monday July 21st 2008. By order of the Eversun Elder, Eversun City will impose a 10% stall tax. When asked how this might affect the population of Eversun City the elder responded with.

On other news the rising profits in the city of Darkdale has lead to the lowing of stall tax to 4%. In a recent interview with Darkdale Elder he had this to say

Emergency Maintenance is occurring at 2:30am PDT to patch the recent outbreak of exploits that were found to be in use. The maintenance will take approximately 1 hour. Rohan team has been working hard to fix these exploits. These fixes will occur in 2 different patches.

The first will be tonight to block all current security issues. its also hoped that this will now eliminate the bots too. The second part will occur during our scheduled maintenance next week. This will enhance and solidify the patch tonight. Because of the abuse have been seen with the handcuffs, they will be taken out during that maintenance too. They will be brought back to the game when some issues have been resolved with them. The official takes these issues very serious and GM staff has been banning users throughout the day that were found to be exploiting. With the launch of the first major township battle later today, they do not want to see these exploits in game. Although they are patching for this now, tehy also understand that there may be a small chance that someone will be able to find another exploit to use. So here is a warning to all. Good news for all rohan players: The eagerly-awaited Township Battle system will be added to the game during next maintenance(7/15/08).

What are Township Battles? Basically, they are organized guild battles in which you can win more than just pride.

There are 2 kinds of Township Battles:

Minor Township Battles will begin on 7/16, and will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10am PST. They are a miniature version of the Major Battles, these are guild battles with 50 guild members on each side. Friday Township Battles will be slightly different. These will take place at 10am PST as well, however no member limit restrictions will be in place on the Friday Township Battles. Winners of the Saturday Battles will be restricted from participating in Friday Minor Township Battles.

Major Township Battles will begin on 7/19, and will take place each Saturday at 1pm PST. Entire guilds wage war to claim ownership of the towns within the continent of Rohan. Winners will receive special Champion's Armor, and will have the ability to set tax rates within the town to earn money for their guild.
