As the rumors said, Apple released a new iMac at the beginning of this week. The appearance looks no major changes but it uses the 45 nm Penryn Core Intel Core 2 Duo processor. In accordance with prior practice, iMac has been using the mobile version of Core 2 Duo processor. But this time the way of using processor is rather special. All the Core 2 Duo processors from 2.40 GHx to 3.06Ghz are 45 nm process and with a 3=6MB L2 cache and a 1066 MHz front-side bus. These processors have never been appeared in the official list of Intel processors. Maybe they are specially designed for Apple. Other features are including AirPort Extreme 802.11n Wifi wireless network, blue tooth2.1+EDR, Gigabit Ethernet, built-in iSight camera, 8x superDrive DVD burner, FireWire 400 and 800 interfaces, coming with Apple remote controller and so on. The machine's preinstalled with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operation system and iLife 08 softwares. The whole set has passed the EPEAT certification and Energy Star 4.0 standard.. On November 11 2006, SONY released the built-in 40G harddrive PS3. Japanese securities company revealed that due to the falling cost of spare parts, SONY may release new version of PS3 in Augest. As PS3 sales gradually improved, SONY's share price also gained a certain extent, the stock is currently 4,570 yen. According to the Japan Bloomberg Financial, president of FAMI-hong talked that Nintendo may announce the new version of NDS in the E3 exhibition which would be held during July 15 and 17th this year. At present the global sale quantity of DS has over 64 million, in Japan alone there are 27 million domestic sales. Currently the sales proportion of Sony PSP and NDS has reduced to 2.7 from the 2.8 at 2007. (PSP sales quantity is nearly 10 million in Japan)

Recently the British industrial development magazine Develop announced their selection of the global TOP 20 game developers. The ranks are based on various developers over the past 12 months in the United Kingdom in the revenue produced.
The first is the historic old game developer Nintendo. In the past 12 months the cumulative revenue they had in the UK was 129 million pounds, almost 2 times more than EA Canada (68 million puonds) which ranked 2nd. And the third place was claimed by the Mengelier Studio Ubisoft (52.17 million pounds), which was famous for its Assassin's Creed last year.
Over the entire distribution of the vendors, the list was almost taken by game developers/studios from Japan, USA, Canada and the United Kingdom. The selected European and Australian game developers are not more than 10. The following is a list of the TOP 20 game developers:
