As much as I am honoured that my article "breasts" has become a feature, the stylistic edits that the MMOSITE editors have made to the layout and title have changed the context of the article. Suddenly I've gone from making a comment to standing on a soapbox preaching to the heathens. For example, the title was changed from 'Breasts' to 'Please Put Something On Their Breasts!'. The modified title makes it look like I am somehow offended by breasts and my post is a some kind of feminist article written to condemn any exposed or half exposed breasts. It also implies that the inverse, male chests that are frequently exposed is perfectly okay in my eyes and it's just the breasts that are the problem.

All of that couldn't be further from the truth. This article was written about breasts and inappropriate clothing (of both sexes) that features in the majority of adult orientated MMORPGs. I focused on females and breasts because they really the most ill-dressed of the two sexes (although some of the cod pieces featured are pretty stupid looking). With that one title change it has made me look like a whinging super uptight right wing christian soapbox preacher with nothing better to do than whinge on mmorpg sites about mmorpgs. When the article was a casual comment on my thoughts reguarding clothing and breasts (because as a male I like breasts, that's in reply to "smbkerr" who feels that because I don't feel the need to surround myself with naked and half-naked breasts to affirm my sexuality I must be a 'fag').

Another example is the placement of image. The imagine in the original were all in link at appropriate places so you could see exactly what I meant when I said something was this or that or not this, et cetera. The original recommended edit was really good I thought. It kept these links but extended a few of the image to make them viewable in the article itself. The feature edit makes it look like I am condoning all of them but the last three, which couldn't be further from the truth. It also added a picture which, in my personal opinion, is perfectly OKAY clothing and NOT inappropriate at all. The images I included as perfect examples of having kick arse clothing as links in the original  without being stripper outfits appear next to one I think is a ridiculous stripper outfit and make it look like I'm either condemning them all or approving them all, which is nothing less of ambiguous at best.

Do not get me wrong MMOSITE editors, I am honoured! When I first saw it, EVERYONE on my contact list who was online I told all about it I was that excited. I opened it and read the title and was a bit confused but still excited., then I had a look at the layout and then comments following it. I feel the context of the original article has been seriously lost and I just hope if I ever get the privilege to have another article of mine feature that the same doesn't happen again (or at least, if it does, to be contacted before the changes are set in stone).

Thanks for the honour MMOSITE, don't hate me :( (I'm delicate)…
