Wakfu Gets Huge Update Before Open Beta

Seems like Mandifesto will definitely have something to do this weekend. Ambitious MMO title Wakfu has just put in what seems to be the last big patch before open beta starts up next week. This patch not only makes changes to various areas, but also introduces two new classes.

The first new class is the Enturof, treasure hunters that are great supporters, as long as they get their prize in the end. On the other side, we have the Ecaflip, a luck-based class whose effects can turn the tide of battle for or against them, depending on chance. Both of these classes should satisfy those with a nose for shiny objects, or those who feel like leaving everything to a roll of the dice.

Meanwhile, the politics system has been adjusted, and governors can now delegate some of their powers to other people, essentially creating a hierarchy of power. New areas have also been introduced to the game, such as Astrub, the City of Mercenaries and Bilbyza, the island that never sleeps. There's a truckload of other details, such as changes to the interface and battle system.
