DCUO Bothering Issues Continued...

Hey peeps, today I feel a bit confuse… confuse and disoriented… Why? Because I like DCUO a lot but at the same time the game is having some issues that I have to finger point because they are pulling my leg…

Yesterday the game was performing fine for some time but for an unknown reason the server start having some strange issues, my best guess is that The Joker messed up something.

Here are a few things that I notice they were out of place yesterday...

1… Higher than usual Ping or Latency… That’s right peeps, the game latency was mess up for a while… It was hilarious to watch how bad latency performs in this game lol!!!! I try to record it on video if I have a chance later on lol! But, if the issue was fixed…. Sorry guys… I think some of you are going to miss the jump fest…

2… Long loading times… The game normally loads uberly fast, but when the connection to the server is not running smooth, things will go awry in ways that you won’t imagine; 5 minutes loading is not cool in any mmo at all…

3… Instances grouping were (Beep) up yesterday… I swear to god that something was completely bork yesterday, I manage to enter Blüdheaven for the first time and guess what, the group wasn’t there… we all got into the mission but in separated instances… OMG!!!!

4… Group system was unstable… I wasn’t able to leave the group after the Blüdheaven incident, so I had to relog to see if that get me out of the group. Unfortunately, it was a peak time and I had to enter another queue line…  At least I manage to get out of the bugged group…

5… My character was stuck in a loading loop… After entering a Gotham nightclub, my character was stuck… I couldn’t get it to load at all… I had to watch this picture for a lot of time…  After a while I realize that I required GM assistance…

6… Too much downtime… 3 hours maintenance at morning every day and then 2 more hours by night is not cool!!! I know the developers are trying to fix things up… but whatever the reason to bring the server down have a justification and reason it’s going to be bad for some people… Like the ones who work all day and play at nights… It’s very harsh to work all day and then get back at home and find that your game is down…

The good news is that not everything is crap and problems…  DCUO is one of the best games I ever played since Guild Wars lol… I really like it a lot… Don’t get confuse people, I am not a hater…

The developers stated that all this problems are because they are going to increase the servers capacity, specially the pvp servers… Instead of opening more servers, which is a horrible idea if you ask me…  They simply added 2 more servers and are working to increase the capacity of all the other servers… That is what I heard some time ago in the game official forums.

That is probably why the game is unstable these days… We are about to see something better later on in the game… woohoo!! I rather keep an optimistic mind with this game, but lets be real at the same time people, if the problems continue for a long time, the player base is going to get mad… and we all know that unhappy players it’s bad for the game…

I know that all of these problems suck axx but at least I can tell you that the developers are doing something.  I opened up a ticket to see if someone could fix my stuck character, for my surprise a GM reply to me in less than an hour telling me that he resettled my toon.
