Hello I am writing this review as a way to connect the dots about cabal online. I hear people on MMO sites saying that cabal online is a "WoW" clone. Well this is simply not true. Cabal online is not like any other mmorpgs I have played, and trust me on this because i have played almost every MMO i could find including "wow". Cabal online is a fantasy rpg with technological aspects (not Sci-Fi, don't get this confused). So without any further ado, here is my take and review of Cabal online.


1. Story Driven or Pure Grinding.
Cabal online is unique in this area, for a couple of reasons. Cabal is indeed a story driven mmorpg, and I say that in the fullest sense of the term. Cabal's story is not just the backstory type of thing most modern mmos have. Cabal's story is incredibly in depth. It makes you feel like the hero, not just some newbie poser. With every quest you do, you learn a little more about what is really going on. Old friends become enemy's, and enemy's reveal who they are really fighting for. Its like a good mystery movie, with twist and turns at every corner. That makes you want to play more and more to find out what will happen next. However some times you may have to grind, while in between quests. or maybe you will find yourself grinding just to better your character.

2. Classes.
Cabal online has 6 classes to chose from. They are:

Warrior- Warriors are the main fighter class who specialize in the use of heavy armor (Armorsuit) and huge 2 hand swords (Great sword or Dai Katana). With high hp, def, and physical strength, they are good at both PvP and PvE solo. But that does not make them the best class, though it makes them very good for new players or fans of 2 hand swords.       

Blader- Bladers are the fastest (atk speed) melee characters. They use a combination of light yet maneuverable armor (Martialsuit) and 2 one hand swords (Blades or Katanas). Having light armor they have less "def" but way more of a dodge rate. They make great PvE and moderate PvP depending on how you train them. This makes them a wise class to pick if you really like PvE or duel wielding.

Wizard- Wizards are the basic magic class. They use what are called "orbs" which are used as magic amplifiers, and light armor (Martialsuit). Orbs attach to the the character's wrists, and the orb on the right wrist summons a staff (mostly to make them look like they use a weapon/ also the cool factor) later on in the game they have incredible (both look and power) magic attacks/skills some of which have huge AoE (area of effect). In PvP they can some times win untouched depending on a number of factors. Based on who uses them and how they train, wizards can destroy or just plain get they @$$'s kicked. usually good for both PvP and PvE.

The next 3 classes are classified as "Force" classes. Force classes are more like hybrids. and they are...

Force Archer- Force archers are in ways much like wizards. They use "Crystals" in the same way wizards use "Orbs". Crystals tend to give less magic power but more accuracy. They use a well balanced armor (Battlesuit) giving similar Def and dodge rate. Force archer use magic to summon a "astral bow" out of their crystals. Astral bows not only look very cool but also help amplify there ability's. Also they act as the healer/cleric class making them a fully capable combat enabled medic. (personally my favorite class)

Force Blader- Force bladers are a magic/sword hybrid. They also use the well balanced armor (Battlesuit). They use a "orb" (commonly use crystals) on there left wrist while wielding a 1 hand sword (blade or katana) in there right hand. This gives them the advantage of ranged magic attacks to use til the enemy gets close and they beat em' up with the sword. They have the ability to enchant there sword with "fire", "magic", and "lighting" among other things. This makes the a really well balanced class.

and last but not least..

Force Shielder- Force shielders are the best tanking class ever. They use heavy armor (Armorsuit), a 1 hand sword (Blade or Katana), and orb (commonly use crystals). They use the orb/crystals to summon a shield made up of pure magic/force. This gives them insane def and hp. having high base def, heavy armor (Armorsuit), and a shield made of pure magic energy. They make the best tank anyone could ever want. Also at a later lvl they can learn a skill that can turn the shield into a weapon.

3. PvP and PvE.

I know some of you readers are thinking yeah that sounds great but what about PvE and PvP.

PvE-
This game has a huge PvE system with tons of monsters and maps. This game always has a place for you to train. But that's not all, tons of single and multiplayer/team dungeons await you. This adds for a great time with friends.

PvP-

     -Duels
Single 1vs1 PvP fights can happen anywhere (other then dungeons). This can start some fun times with friends to see who is stronger, or just for the hell of it.

     -PvP/War server
The war server allows any play regardless of lvl to fight anyone, anywhere, and for what ever reason. This server is great if you just want to pwn some noobs, or prove yourself as a fighter. 

     -Guild Battles
Guild Battles can happen if leaders from two guilds meet and form one. Players from both guilds can join to fight each other. This is great for having fun or proving which guild stands above the others.

     -Nation War
 A few times a day, every day the nation war happens. This is a grand battle that players can take part in at around lvl 52 or so, after finishing a quest to select your nation. Nation war has around 4-5 tier groups of  different lvls. After a huge battle that can last up to 30 mins (should you not be killed) the winning side is give a in-game bonus. The bonus gives more exp and skill exp, plus one or more perks (and bragging rights).

4. What About Cost?
This game is FREE to play. You don't have to pay a cent for extra features. You can get every thing in the game for free. No limits to lvl or places you can go. The only money involved is in the cash shop, But the items sold in the cash shop are not needed to progress. Things buyable there are for example "pets", "automatic HP potions", "costumes", "astral boards"(hoverboard vehicle), and a few other unneeded items. Also the astral board can be obtained as a rare drop.

5. professional rating

Graphics - 5/5
The graphics and effects of the game are very pretty, easy to look at and enjoy.

Story - 5/5
The story of the game is very unique, fresh, highly involving and deep. It will keep you in like nothing before it (yes that last part is my opinion). 

Music - 5/5 (I personally would say 6/5, its that good)
Every map has its own theme song, all the music is like a symphony is playing right in front of you. Its all very beautiful. Although some maps have a more haunting sound. Plus the game gives you the ability to add you own songs into the game in case you want something else.

Gameplay - 5/5
The gameplay is truly incredible. You will get hooked by the addictive gameplay.

Community - 4/5
Everyone is (most of the time) very nice and helpful to not only new players but anyone who needs a tip. The only bad thing here is chat spamming bots (>T.T)> yes chat spamming bots. Most players can find a way around this. But that does not change that it is there. So if your reading this cabal online staff plz, plz fix this issue.
