Champion Spotlight: Hecarim, the Shadow of War

The release of Hacarim is neigh, with the new patch coming out in about an hour from this post. In preparation of him coming out, they've already released the champion spotlight for the character. As per a lot of the spotlights, the video highlights his abilities and gives tips on both how to play the new champ, and builds that will utilize his skillset.

 In all honesty, from how many of his skills scale with AP (Half), I would have thought they might have given him more of a hybrid build, which they didn't. I might experiment with his builds later once he comes out, since I do plan to buy him when he is released, so I may first stick with the more recommended builds and then move away from the gradually to see what else may work out for him. Though the more I think about it, the less I think a hybrid build would really work with him, since his main damage dealing skill is his Q which stacks with AD. Still though, he does look like a fun champion to play with, and to be honest I am quite looking forward to having no unit collision with him, just because of some random bad luck in games where minions swarm behind the champion we're chasing to allow them a quick getaway, usually with little to no life, but that is discussion for another day.

Anyone else planning on buying Hecarim when he gets released? Or will you wait a few weeks when he will undoubtedly go on the free week to test him out?
