Portal Free Again

Got Portal yet? Well, if you haven’t got it yet, I have some good news for you. Valve has decided to give their hit game Portal, away again on steam. Last time I believe, it was due to the Mac updating, giving the people with barely any games on their platform, a bit more to play, besides…..uh…..whatever Mac people play.

This new promotion isn’t forever, and lasts only till the 20^th. They’re doing this, according to RPS (Rock Paper Shotgun) as part of a “games and learning initiative”. The point of this is to show that the games puzzles and physics can be used as learning tools. So yes, the news can have something else playing than blaming every act of violence to gaming, now we can be violent and educated! (Sarcasm on the violence part, of course)

Suffice to say, if you haven’t had a chance to get Portal, do it now. If you don’t have a steam account, make one and get portal. It’s free, you have nothing to lose. AS long as you get the game before the 20^th, it will be yours free forever on your account. Don’t forget, the cake is a lie!
