New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 27)

Yep, that time of the week is upon us once again. Summoners get the chance to play champions they rarely do in the joy of making other rage. That, or you're one of the people who own most of, if not all of the champions listed and you couldn't care less which are free this week, except to put that sigh of annoyance only to see randoms spam picking those certain champions. Well good news and bad news. Good news; you get spared at least another week to see twice as much Darius action in the games. Bad news; there are still some annoying selections here for people to pick to just ruin your day.
As with every week, I pick the champions I like out of the bunch, say why, and ask what your picks are for the week. This week champions that I am fond of are; Soraka, Nasus, Veigar, Kog'maw, Pantheon, and Sejuani. The ones I will actually be talking about are; Pantheon, Soraka, Nasus, and Veigar.
So Pantheon first, since I do oh so love the heavy hitting DPS champions of LoL, my choice in Pantheon should be obvious. He can hit like a truck, his passive is a shield that blocks damage, including from a turret, after he lands a few hits, and his ult lets him fly from a distance to cut off runners, finish them off, or just make them run the other way back into his team. Though I have to admit, I do miss the days where he could jump anywhere on the map. Those days where you would see Pantheons leaping from their spawn pool to the other teams just to take out some guy who ran back there to heal.
Soraka is actually one of my favorite mages, and in my opinion, highly underrated. With her Q having almost no cool down, and her ability to silence without any mana cost, makes her a fairly fun DPS mage/healer. I couldn't tell you how many times I got double/triple kills with her by just chasing down people and spamming Q the whole time. For those who are oblivious/short sighted enough to not focus on her in each fight end up seeing how deadly she can really be. But the thing that bugs me and makes me not use her as much is because she is fugly, I'm sorry, she is. With the whispers of her getting a graphical upgrade as well, I hope they turn her into something that looks a fair bit better.
Nasus, well, I don't play him as much, but that doesn't mean I don't like him. I am just not that great with him, I'll admit that. But for those who are good with him, he can be a real pain in the arse. The mix with his debuffs and slows can just ruin a guys day who is just trying to get back to heal. Not to mention when you think you're on par with him only to have him pop his ult, get some more hp, and do slight damage to you while you're near him, can just turn the tides in his favor sometimes.
Last but not least, Veigar, the mage with the voice that annoys many, but makes me laugh when I hear it. Despite his short stature, he is a fairly deadly mage, especially if you're building a lot of AP and he nukes you with his ult. My friend in particular is having a bit of fun playing him a lot more. Especially when he nuked AP Sions/Morganas in almost one hit. but more than that, his stun can be a pain as well, if you don't have flash and get stuck in it, it is either stand there and let them run, or run in and get stunned. Since it can work on a group of enemies, it makes it all the better.
So those, as always, are my picks for the week. Who are your faves out of the bunch and why?
