I have some good news for you guys and gals. You heard of Wizardry Online which just recently graced the Japanese, right? Well, it has been confirmed that the game is making its way westward to both the EU and NA audiences, courtesy of the Japanese Publisher, Gamepot. They’re working on bringing this game over by early 2012.

For those who never heard of Wizardry Online, it is made in conjunction with Headlock studios in order to revive a classic game in RPG history. The game attempts to keep features of the original games alive by having complex dungeons which the original game is known for but adding standard mmo features such as party play and pvp combat. (I am all for pvp) Hardcore fans may be pleased to know that while it is a mmo, it does offer some features that those looking for a challenge may revel in, which is permanent player death, in which when your character dies, he/she doesn’t come back.

Gamepot already has an English teaser site up to tempt fans who are awaiting its release. It is also is also fairly quick of a scheduled release to the west, considering the game was just in its beta stages not that long ago in japan, but needless to say it is extremely welcomed. So keep your eyes peeled for this mmo as it makes its way west in early 2012.
