If you didn't hear the news, yesterday EA announced Mass Effect Infiltrator for iOS devices. Now, I am not a fan of Apple products, which in my opinion and that of my friends tends to be overpriced old tech, but I am a fan of the Mass Effect series, and thought I would share some info on this.

If you're like me and pre-ordered the upcoming Mass Effect 3, and you want to do all you can in the universe of the game and you also happen to have an iOS device, you may want to pick up Infiltrator. As many of you know, ME3 is the first in the series to feature an actual multiplayer element, not to mention that the progress players make with the co-op missions affects the story in a way. How does this all play together you may ask? 

Well infiltrator will play a part in that as well, as in the story of it you art tasked with the assault of a Cerberus base and need to find evidence of the crimes Cerberus have committed and free hostages as well. 

But what is really attractive about the game is the graphics, which gets on a near close resemblance of ME 1s base graphics. Which is a very nice thing when it is ported to something like the iPad. To show it off a bit, I did steal some screenshots from over at IGN which show the in game graphics to what players can expect.

Oh and don't forget you don't -need- to do get and beat this game to get the best ending in ME3, this just adds some more to the story.
