Today Blizzard put up the details for what they are calling the BlizzCon 2010 Virtual Ticket. Essentially, if you weren't one of the lucky few who were able to snag tickets to Blizzard's main event in Anaheim, CA, you're in luck. Just like in previous years, for the low, low price of $39.95 you too can experience BlizzCon, right from the convenience of your own living room.
Blizzard is once again teaming up with Direct TV to provide access to the event, including all panels, tournaments, as well as the as yet unknown closing ceremonies. Last year it was Ozzy "let me see your effing hands" Ozborne, so you know the show is sure to dazzle this go around. Also included in the price of the virtual ticket is access to BlizzCon swag through the online store, and a code for an exclusive World of Warcraft in-game item. Two years we've gotten pets, one year we got a mount, and one there was a Murloc costume in the goody bag. What will it be this go around? You'll have to pony up the cash to find out. Personally, I think it's worth the money, but BlizzCon is hugely important to me. If that makes me a fangirl, then fangirl I am.
