I recently tried Tales Runner, a racing MMO with cute anime characters, because I thought it might be something special. As from the characters offered (4 different ones), I chose Ming Ming.

(Yeah, I got my nice MMOsite shirt from MMOsite and showed it off to others. The shirt was screaming "I'm a proud member of MMOsite!", even though the logo was a little small to see what exactly was printed on it.)

But you'd surely like to know how this game works, right?

Tales Runner - not just running

The name and site may imply that the game is just all about running and competition. The second one might be true, as in teams you can't really help each other that much, but the game also has skiing in certain levels.

When starting to play, you'll be called a chick as that's your current rank. By running a lot of games and winning competitions you level up. (It felt a little like grinding, to be honest.) You'll start out by doing some tutorial levels to teach you the basics of the game, which were easy enough to follow. Free Server Valkyrie!

Oooh... how long have I longed to play Ragnarok Online? A long time... the dream was forced to just be a dream. Money was the ultimate obstacle. But guess how overjoyed I was after checking the game's site today? I smiled. Ragnarok has got a new server and it's free to play. This is Valkyrie.

The world is becoming generous, isn't it? Well, I'm currently downloading the game which is a whole bunch of 1.34 GBs. That's a lot for the ordinary 50kb connections, but luckily we have broadband. With FDM* the download speed is up to 636kb/s!

Ah, it isn't finished yet. A little under 20 minutes of waiting remain. Well, I might as well tell you about how and where to download Ragnarok, if you're a little tired of searching for everything I write in Google.
