The term "New Game" usually means that you might expect a different experience from a new product. Nevertheless, the tem in the video game industry very rarely means that it is an entirely new concept. Most of the games we can obtained that are "New" are following a specific formula or sequence of events that we are already familiar with.
For example First Person Shooters (FPS) you know that of course you will have to shoot your way through the game, but there are many things that have been done that have renewed the genre since Wolfenstein 3D. Great examples of excellent landmarks for the genre are Call of Duty 4 and the Halo series.
In the early years of MMORPG development not many developers worried about similar games popping out, because it was just very expensive to take on a project like a MMORPG and there was not enough demand for online multiplayer games.
Recently, Maplestory one of the games with one of the largest communities has seen a very similar game come into the market. I have never played Maplestory but I tried the alleged clone to see what was my experience like

Lately I've been reading more and more complaints about players that just seem to hate the Free to Play model. I see it everywhere, in the forums, in the blog, in my cereal. And I'm sick tired of it. I keep reading and I never get to the part of someone replying "Oh no man Free to Play is really cool I like it .." No, the rest is just people nodding and as usual throwing in additional complaints of their own.
Well I think Free To Play needs a lawyer, and since I would go down defending it, here is my effort on paying Free To Play back for all the fun that I've had.
Start
Curiosity was what brought me to online games, I had heard about World of Warcraft, but since I couldn't afford it, I didn't even google it. Later, I saw more and more references to online games from the TV series I watched and gaming websites, and I became inevitably more curious by the hour. One day when I finally embarked on the quest to play online I saw "Free to Play!" on a web banner and I thought to myself "There is hope!!". I kept browsing and I found Rose Online, I downloaded and played for a while, but later I read the website more carefully an
I have waited so long to give Mabinogi a try. I watched all of the trailers and read all of Hyuk's guides. I've tried to distract myself with other MMOs but mehh, who am I kidding?I want to play it soo badly.
So after being very patient today I downloaded the client, I had already registered my account and I a proceeded to the routine struggle with gameguard to make the game work. I think gameguard is a device that guards you from running the game in your first attempt. But oh well, I'll save my bullets for gameguard, because they need a post of their own.
Long story short, FilePlanet made a deal with Nexon and got the first 24 hours of the game exclusively for "North American" members of their Free MMO Club in their words: "Free-To-Play Online Games with Bonus content for Suscribers". It doesn't even sound good…Anyway, I was just desperate to try this game, so I signed up for an account with my "Spam me,I don't check it anyway"-email and click through the activations like fire to get my open beta key.
That was when the ordeal begun, this is what I got:
In case you haven't read my About Page, I am from Mexico and we are a part of N
Welcome to the second part of Surviving your First MMORPG, the first part was The Basics. If you haven't chosen your MMORPG yet, please read How to Choose a MMORPG.
Careers
Every game has their own career selection, they can be called careers or classes, maybe even jobs. This is a quick generalized guide and it doesn’t apply to every game out there. Here are some of the most common types:
Archer(Ranged)
It can use a bow or not, usually their defense is not very high, but they rely on high damage level to kill their mob before they mob reaches them. They work really well at dealing quick damage when they have as warrior to tank for them.
Mage/Enchanter
This type of character might use a book or a staff and like the archer has low defense but has very high damaging attacks. If you fight a mage, they are going to use several powers to stun you and even turn your character into an animal (It happened to me, and it was not cool-_- )
I think Elementalists would also fall in the mage category, they are called that because they use Fire, Ice, Water, and/or Earth based attacks.
Summoner
This players are similar to the mage class, they can cast spells as well; but, as their name describes, th
Nowadays role players in online games are starting to become more and more rare. The virtual worlds are thriving in people hungry to level up and acquire power than fromplayers who are actually enjoying the game content. It is for example like the cell phone industry, now teenagers care more about how much luxury their cell phone provides than what important things are they going to talk about when using it.
But don't I care about new ground breaking in-game options? Of course I do, I just care if they have a real meaningful purpose. Some games that I have played or that I have talked about with my friends have a recurring trend. They have the game story as their weak point, either it is meaningless to the game, or it just doesn’t make sense at all.
Some History
Some of the first role playing games were pen and paper based, and for the horror of graphic lovers even computer text based. Then what happened? at what point in time we stopped caring about role playing and became obsessed with leveling?.I believe some of this questions are age based. At first older generations like generation X and previous generations were the pioneers of role playing. They played Dungeons and Dr

"Simple, United"
We are an International Guild, the main guild started in Last Chaos but we are now expanding to other games, and we invite people to join.
We are a guild of Heroes/Heroines. It's very easy being a killer and being rude to new players, but we are essentially good people. We are fairly a new guild, we started on February of this year and we have been growing since.
Also, our guild is international, people from all countries are welcome to join. English is the language for official guild announcements, but we have other languages available on request.
Our Website [ http://excaliburlc.awardspace.com] We design our own website and we are currently developing new custom applications to enhance the enjoyment of our members. It has no advertisement, and we do not request any kind of real money donations.
A word from the current Guild Master Remember everything guys. Games are not just about leveling. Its about sharing experiences with your teamates/guildmates/friends. After you quit a game, level don't matter at all. A friend's email you have earned, on the other hand, will accompany you for quite some time even if both of you don't play anymore. Be human more th
