Finally school is OUT, I asked my fellow Computer Science classmates what mmo should we play were we could kill each other during vacations. Since me and Igriss are the experts, I suggested first racing or a shooter, I suggested Gunz for a shooter and Upshift Strike Racer, I had played Strike Racer before, so it would be unfair for them (muahahhahaah). So we picked up Gunz, which I have never played before.
Installed and after doing some modifications I got it to run properly, I logged in and created my nice male char with 2 big revolvers.
I entered Quest 5 , and just entered a random room. As usual I didn't even bother to read the game basics, so I just went in and started shooting people. We had some fun playing, and I played the next day. One thing this game has is that it keeps me excited every second of gameplay, which is very cool.
After I read some game basics from the official site I started doing some strategies I'm used to from Ghost Recon and Call of Duty, and I advanced pretty well. But then I got called sprayer, and a whole bunch of names I had no idea what the heck. I tried for a clan, and my web dev credentials got me in, even though I'm still a noobzor :P
Just a few minutes ago I read a very nice guide from gunzunlimited.com and I understood what was going on, the problem is there is a subculture of game techniques with their own (shall I say it) propietary names. You DO need a Gunzpedia to know what is going on, playing won't give you the big picture.
According to the gunzunlimited.com site I'm a E-Styler in other words I have a European style of fighting. It's not pretty or technical, but I do get some nice kills here and there. Which made me happy because I was worried on being a noob for not knowing k-style (korean style), so what?, I can kill k-stylers as well as hybrids.
Overall this is a very nice game, its is a fast download because it is not very big. To be honest I had low expectations, but I was very suprised at the amount of action you get for the size of the game, oh and it has another of my favorite properties: FREE
My highest character right now is TenmaSuki, I made a girl character afterwards because they say they were faster, but I'm still not sure. All I know is girls are smaller and have less body to shoot at :D

Well now you know, and remember if you standing behind a wall and waiting for someone to suprise and all of the sudden you get shot from behind and blown up with a grenade, that was me >=)
