Aeria Games announced today that Dynasty Warriors Online, a popular game based off of the Dynasty Warriors franchise by KOEI will be heading into the western market.

"Dynasty Warriors Online is an action-oriented Tactical Combat game, focusing on frenetic fighting and deadly showdowns against giant hordes on sprawling battlefields. The Item Mall: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Let’s face it,  nearly every free MMO currently on the market has an Item Mall. Some may think that the purpose of micro-transactions (the process of buying items virtually) is a waste of time and money but many game developers see it as a way to produce revenue for their company. There are many great things about an Item Mall and there are many bad things about an Item Mall. Much of it is based on perception and how much money you are willing to spend to get the advantage (if there is one to be had).
