They need to be renamed because they are full of crap. All they're doing is trying to blame problems on things they don't agree with. They can scream all they want, but in the end, all they have is lack of evidence and a biased argument. Sex and video games are NORMAL. Trying to prevent them is NOT normal. It also doesn't help that the Christian religion helped to propogate many of the problems we have today. Trying to condemn other people for your own actions is just hypocrisy at its best. The following is my counter argument to why their arguments fail and like them, I won't bother to provide evidence from a credible source.

The Education:

One of the problems we have today is the education system. The budget is constantly being cut. Everywhere you go, the focus is on science and math. That is all. You are expected to know at least Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, and maybe a bit of Physics. The problem is that once you are out of school, this crap is useless. If I'm going to be a reporter, I won't need to know Trigonometry. I'm going to need a English degree and classes in Journalism. If I'm going to be a teacher, perhaps I should take a bit of Children Psychology an

Like I did with Atlantica Online a while back (I need to go redo that entry some day), I have decided to speak out against Nexon's behavior in localizing the game for North America and Canada. So far it has been one of the worst localizations I have seen to date. If you were thinking about playing it, I recommend you think again. If you decide you don't want to, I will provide a few alternatives you can play if you desire a similar game. NOTHING was changed between Closed Beta and Early Access. No serious bugs were actually created until they implemented these new patches that did apparently nothing but worsen the overall gameplay experience. If the manage to fix a majority of these problems, then its fine but until they do, its complete crap.

1) The Fatigue System

Each day you can only enter about 150 rooms total. When you run out, you can no longer complete stages. All you can do is go PvP at the arena until the reset at 6 AM. This is by far the most restricting system I have ever dealt with. The average stage for low level players can be completed in under 6 minutes and this is almost always 8 or more rooms. This will not last most players more than 3 hours. Becau

I always find it funny that people will always try to blame everything on video games. I'm looking at you Germany. Using a single event to justify massive reliation against video games is not okay. This isn't far from getting on to "internment camp" area and I AM NOT KIDDING. Sorry if this offends anyone who has had ancesors in an internment or concentration camp area. Randomly shutting down "gaming" websites is just poor behavior on the part of the government. This subject also can't be discussed without ever mentioning Mr. Jack Thompson the self proclaimed "video game industry's worst nightmare". Fortunately he ended up on Penn and Teller's Bullshit making him and basically everyone who was against video games look like complete idiots.

The video game defense is something that lawyers have tried to use like the insanity plea. The idea is to either get a lower sentence or to try to convince people that the person who committed the crime is not guilty because they were not aware of their actions or they were being influenced by something else (the video game) to do what they did. Luckily, this almost never works because video ga

I made a rant about random item mall boxes a few months back. Never thought I would need to add to it.

http://my.mmosite.com/blog/tihoa/blog/item/5639f729dbba3f4ab36bc62782a7703c.html

Now I feel I must take my anger with this up to the next level because of Nexon. The reason? Dungeon Fighter Online. They have taken this to the next level with the Gacha Machines with probably the most absurd type of randomness possible. Not only are the items randomized, the color of the item are randomized, the stats of the item are randomized, AND the rarity of the item is randomized.

The problem with this randomness is that you need the item mall to get the clothing you want. All you can do is specify the character you want clothing for. Then you have to pay up some Gatcha coins and pray you get the one you want. If you don't, too bad try again. The screenshots shown at PAX list the items at $2 per try for coins in batches of 10 for $20. I don't expect anyone to go for a decent set without at least spending $40. Lottery will also allow the GMs to fix and change the odds of any of the items they wish to without notifying the players and can stand their point by saying that the

Original list

I'm 100% sure that this "easy to level" stuff only applies up to a certain level. All games are like that and at some point it will turn into an epic grind. That point is determined by the developers.

10) With Your Destiny

At first glance this looks fast but then so did MU. How did they counter this? There's 400 possible levels for your character. To top it off there's the God, Celestial God, etc. ranks as well which could be other ways to extend the grind. It doesn't matter if the first 50 levels are fast. You still have 350 more to go. Its like playing Disgaea if it was online. Are you really prepared to grind 30 levels in the same spot?

9) Gods War Online

It explains itself. The fact that you have to go AFK to level up your character doesn't mean its fast. It means its so grindy that no human player could ever get far into the game. Shouldn't you be fun playing your game? Not waiting for the game to catch up so you can continue playing? Also, wouldn't this create an enormous bot problem because you can't tell normal players from bots? If bots are few in num

Over the last decade or so, I've played a lot of games. The following are the bosses that I consider to be the most ridiculous and most annoying to fight. Simply either because they are ridiculously tough or just have an annoying ability that is difficult to counter. These bosses tend to be extremely cheap or overpowered or both. Final Fantasy didn't make it to the list because of Auto-Life and Armaggeddon spam. You know what I'm talking about if you've ever fought that boss.

1) Shin Megami Tensei Series (Digital Devil Saga, Nocturne, and Persona dunno about Raidou)

Boss: Almost any fight but especially the cameo battles

These bosses are loaded with the cheapest and most powerful attacks with almost no way to counter them except through trial and error. In the special optional boss battles, the boss will consider any abilities that nullify or absorb an attack to be a cheap shot. In response they will instantly kill your entire party (9999 damage to everyone when max hp is 999) until you restructure your team. Most of these battles are a test of endurance against an enemy with insane damage. You have to be careful because if the battle drags out too long, they will use t

Reading that article just gave me a good laugh. Thought I'd write about it.

10) Cabal Online

Cabal Online is good, but the problem lies in the combo system and unrestricted PvP. The combo skill makes it impossible to dodge attacks and the combo system relies on perfect timing. Any lag with the server means you get screwed. Defense matters not dodge since every hit will land. All the special battle modes are made useless by the combo system. Mages get screwed and Force Bladers dominate the game with overpowered debuffs. PvP is also unrestricted in many high level areas. The result? Anyone with higher tier equipment can just show up and kick your ass and then move along. Nothing is there to prevent this from happening.

9) Shaiya

It takes a long time to get anywhere in this game. By the time you reach a decent PvP level and only hardcore grinders. Why? You have to grind up several characters so that you can get a hard mode character with better stats. Otherwise you will be at a severe disadvantage due to having lower stats than someone else because they have a hard mode rather than a normal mode character. It doesn't matter if you're the same level with the same equipment. Higher diffi

On a side note, I got accepted into the Dungeon and Figher Onine closed beta. Hopefully I will have time to play during their limited hours.

One of the things that I hate the most nowadays is how different game companies target demographics that they aren't exactly sure of themselves. They ignore what appeals to others in order to satisfy what they want. This trend is just growing and growing. It use to just be standard offline games, but its slowly expanding to online games and some of these game companies dare to say that they know you better than you know yourself. This proves wrong with their marketing results.

PS3:

The PS3 is probably the worst performing console of the generation so far. It lacked great launch titles like the other consoles for starters and since its release it wasn't performing as well.  However, it is still the Playstation. This means they expect a large of number of action/platformer games and RPGs specifically the Japanese RPGs such as Final Fantasy and Star Ocean. Instead of doing this, developers went to the Xbox 360 with their RPGs. Chances are if you bought a PS3 you bought it for things that were big on the PS2 such as Gran Turismo, Star Ocean, o

I hate to say this, but from all the experiences I've had with forums, Cubizone is by far the worst. Surpassing those of Acclaim and NDoors. Although Acclaim and NDoors don't pay much attention to the forums, they won't ban users for making comments or suggestions about the game. They will also at least read your post thoroughly. On top of this, I received NO notification that I was banned for an incident that happened about a day after my STEPS Review was published. I just could not log into my account. Now with the recent update to their website, they FINALLY mentioned that my account and email has been banned from their website upon trying to use it with a new email.

After a certain incident with STEPS, I recommend them to produce permanent non-rental clothing into the game without requiring the item mall because dance games without a permanent clothing option makes it impossible for players to show progress and players quickly leave. They responded that they will provide permanent clothing options through the item mall. After that I responded that I will take my desire for a decent dance game else where. The result? They banned my account. All for that one remark against

Level 59-67 (Hanging Gardens of Babylon):

Up next after this should be the lvl 95-100 guide. There is a steep grind at those levels compared to other ones.

Level 59-67 (Hanging Gardens of Babylon):

For the first time in a while, you will encounter some easy enemies with one or two exceptions. Almost any enemies here are good for farming with the exception of the Keysha enemies. I personally recommend the Slave mobs. They're relatively weak but still give decent experience and drops. Most of the enemies here are fairly weak and worth training on. The first miniboss here is the Iron Doll Reaper and it only appears in the entrance area. It attacks like an axe would so that means your entire row could be dead in a few hits so keep that in mind. The second one here is like a giant Lionman. They tend to drop a Secret Material Chest. Something that lets you pick from either Growth Vials or Mandragora. A lot of people are willing to pay high for Mandragora, but Growth Vials are much more useful to you in the long run. The Prophet quest does not begin until level 70 so in order to obtain it you will need to revisit here later. The boss here (Tiamat) is fairly tough as well. I recommen
