Really guys, it's not that difficult

I was just planning to respond to a few comments on my previous blog entry, but I kind of had a bit too much to say, so I just decided to make another thread altogether. Yeah, that might be overkill, but it won't really kill you to look at the other entry. There are only four including this one when I post it.
But anyway, back to the topic. A couple of my commenters vehemently disagreed with what I said. That was cool, but I kind of got the idea that they didn't really understand what I was talking about. It was almost as if they had looked at the title and decided to flame the blog entry. At least finish reading the whole thing people. I hope I'm not THAT bad a writer (ok now I'm probably going to get a few comments telling me how much I suck at writing. Woo). I clearly stated in the blog entry that I was not pro-gold farming. I always enjoyed doing things the old-fashioned way. I didn't even have anybody rush me in Diablo 2. Ever. I didn't buy any items online or from other people. I don't think there was really gold-farming when I was playing D2 anyway. But what I wanted to say was that I asked people to at least be a little more forgiving for the guys that are farming the gold. Yes, they are annoying. Yes, they spam and bot and hack and hog up quest sites and all that good stuff. Yes, it's illegal. But these guys need a goddamn job. They are being paid 20 dollars a month to farm gold. They probably have a family to feed. You are being fed alright, but your employer isn't going to feed your family for you. They aren't the ones farming gold. If you guys have an idea on how to feed a family with twenty dollars every month, please post it. It will be most enlightening. I'm pretty sure that they aren't living that healthily even if you manage it. I don't mind being called a dumbass, if it is justified. But I think this is a valid point. There are always two sides of the coin. Just think about it for a second please.
For all the WOW players out there, your finances are probably all set. You probably have a job, or your parents give you enough money or even sponsor you. WOW is a outlet, so I understand if you guys get pissed off when some chinese gold farmer is hogging that prime creeping spot or spamming you with bad english. But the guy plays WOW for a job, in order to feed his family. If you are in a bad mood or are sick and don't really want to play WOW, you have that option. He does not. It sucks for him.
This just popped up in my head. Gold farming online is run something like how drug dealers run their organizations isn't it? The guys that peddle drugs on the street get next to nothing. Several even continue to stay with their mothers. The big shots, on the other hand, rake in the dough, probably have several mistresses and houses, and live an easy life off other people. Just a thought.
