June 25th, K2 Network (www.k2network.net) announces that Nocturnal Sonata, the newest expansion for Sword of the New World is now available.

Lots of new contents added.

New UPC: Vincent Rio, the Upgrade Merchant located in the City of Auch.
This former Minstrel has been working in the City of Auch as the Upgrade Merchant, but longs to explore the New World.

New Events:

Royal Rumble: Four times a day this crazy free for all event challenges the best of the best to a 30 minute competition where the last family standing wins! Defeat the NPC, grab the Warrior's Mark and hang on for dear life as friend and foe alike battle to the death!

Faction Fight: Once a day each Faction has a chance to dominate in this fast paced Faction versus Faction challenge. At 18:00 server time families can begin entering the arena for 20 Reputation. At 18:10 the madness begins. Be the first Faction to climb through the bosses and destroy the colony and you will win a 24 hour buff for all your Faction Members!

New Stances:

The Scout Master has discovered a new way to heal. No really it’s true! See him to learn:

• Tactical Assistance is a buffing stance that increases the performance of all team members.
  • Usable by Scouts, Soho and Viki.

The Researching Scholar in New Opoluto (Bahamar Base Camp) has discovered new stances! Gather 30 Explorer memos or storage boxes and 25 Mysterious Powders and he will train you in these new stances:

• Mighty Cruz a strong polearm stance that attacks up to 4 opponents in front of the character.
  • Usable by Fighters, Claude, Idge, Reboldeaux Soldier, Cortasar, Coimbra Trooper and Alejandro.
• Sight Shot a powerful single gun stance that attacks opponents twice!
  • Usable by Musketeers, Brunie and Garcia.

Item Changes:

• Added two new item options: Immunity and Penetration.
  • Penetration: the degree to which you can override your opponent's DEF, RES, Blocking and Evasion.
  • Absorb: the degree of how much you block Override penetration and DEF, and Override RES.
• The Shield of Victor is now a Costume and will need to be re-equipped as such.
• Buff effects caused by the Hermes, Triumph, and AM Boost potions no longer disappear when zoning
• Starter Kits have been buffed to include 18 Polish: Novice, 1 Glove, 1 Boot 50 Microphones, 50 Megaphones, 100 Warp Scrolls and a White Gold Bar (sells to an NPC for 1 Million vis).
• Added new necklaces that increase resistances by 5% including: Physical, Shooting, Fire, Ice, etc.
• Added advanced necklaces that increase resistances by 10%. These can only be found in raids through-out the game.
