Today I'm here to doa report of a wonderful experience that I had this weekend
Yes, as the title says, I'm here to tell you how was the second weekend of Closed Beta on Aion x)
So, let's get to work!!



At first, this Closed Beta was stricted to the Asmodian people, once the last beta was focused on the Elyos faction, but then ncSoft decided that both factions could be played in the Beta #2. It was more interesting to play as a Asmodian, 'cause it is a whole new world, new NPCs and a new enviroment, as well as the Asmodian culturalized stuff, so I did my Asmo guy.

Above you have the creation window of a female scout Asmodian. Here is where you will make you character looks just like you want it to look. You have three buttons at the low center part, so you can switch between "any armor", "begginer armor" and "high level armor", so you have a fair idea how you character will looks like wearing different kinds of armors. I bet that everyone these days can hear things like "New Unreal Engine 3 based MMO" or "Next gen MMORPGs that uses Unreal Engine 3". And then some of questions appear on our minds like "What is Unreal Engine 3 after all?" and "What kind of changes or improvements it will bring tho MMOs?". To clear some of this questions I will try to explain in a simple way what UE3 is and what changes it'll bring to the games that uses it.

As EVERYONE expected, the release date of Aion: The Tower of Eternity showed at Amazon.com (October 30) was a mistake.
Now they've come with another release date, which might be the true one this time, according to Amazon.com, Aion is scheduled to be release at May 26, 2009. The price and box art remains the same, and any other information about the Collector's Edition or the contents of the boxes was reveiled yet. Now only we can do is wait for some official news from ncSoft. I hope there'll be at least an US Open Beta.

 'Asda Story: A Soulmate MMORPG'

 Asda Story presents to the MMORPG community a feature present in a few MMORPG and still unknown for a lot of people, this feature is called "Soulmate System". With this feature, you can "link" your character permanently to someone that you like and trust, like your best friend or your boy/girlfriend, even your sister or brother, anyone is able to be your soulmate. Soulmates can share experience even if they are on different parties, as well as use Soulmate Skills, Soulmates can even share their own characters! A Soulmate is like a requirement to enjoy all the aspects of the game, so hurry up and grab yours.

The Quest System

There is a total of 5 kinds of quests in Asda Story:

1 - Scenario Quest:
Scenario quests are the "Story" ones, you go to a NPC, then he will tell you something about the game's world or something about itself, then it will give you a quest, this kind of quests are good if you are tired of hunting.

2 - Promotion & Job Change Quest
These are the quests that you must complete in order to change your Job and acquiring new skills.

3 - Quarterly Test
The Quarterly Test is a kind of adventure quest

The Aion FAQ has been updated with new information concerning beta testing. The entry is now as follows:

In lieu of beta testing, Aion fans will be given opportunities to participate in a small number of Preview events before the game's release. In addition to soliciting player feedback, the Preview events will help prepare for Aion's release, as well as provide a great gaming experience on launch day and beyond.

As with Aion's release date, the schedule of these Preview events will be announced in coming months."

More information on the Preview events, including sign-up opportunities, will be made in the near future.

 R.O.S.E.(Rush On Seven Episodes) Online is a well-known game in NA produced by GRAVITY corp., the same company that brought the famous MMORPG called "Ragnarok Online". As you can see, the universe of ROSE is divided in 7 parts, or 7 Planets, your mission is to visit and explore the 7 planets searching for a way to destroy the Evil that threats all mankind. The game has been up since 2006 and in 2007 it start to be called "ROSE Online Evolution", this new era brought to the many updates, like the new User Interface. This game is a colorful one, the graphics could seem a little childish, but don't be mistaken, the Gameplay of ROSE online is advanced as a lot of new MMORPGs that you can find out there. Something I didn’t like in this game was the movement, the character moves slow and you need to go through long distances sometimes, making you buy a lot of Teleport scrolls just to go to the cities. The quests are ok and have a good storyline so far , and you will gain a good amount of exp by grinding too. - INTRODUCTION

Q-World is a new MMORPG created by Beijing Perfect World Co. the same company that created the well-known game Perfect World. Q-World assimilated the "Perfect World system", so many features are just the same in both games, even some shortcuts are the same, so, if you like Perfect World, you won't regret playing this game. But what catches the eye in Q-World it's the Magical System that allows you to transform in almost everything like monsters, trees, and even a Chocobo!!
