I hate to say it, but people have been boycotting bad games or poor decision like this for ages. They're called pirates. Many of them, believe it or not, download rather than buying because of issues like this and others. Lack of demo, patches, or official support are often times other issues. Pirating in itself will continue regardless of DRM. How many games claim to have DRM but are still pirated only days after release? 100%. I can't name one single game that has yet to be pirates, short of MMORPG and that is due to the server and client software being seperate.

This petition is just pointless, and it is over react. Just dont worry, I believe those cracker outside have tons of way to make it LAN possible. There are nothing that those cracker at world cannot crack. Like a fella below me said, make a private server is an option too, but I dare nobody will do that because you know, blizzard have tons of gold to sue anyone they hate. Just wait for the crack version thats it. I just care to play the story version.

Power to you. Activision thinks it's all high and mighty now, but the fans know what they want. Speaking of the fans though, STOP BENDING OVER AND TAKING IT IN THE ASS. Protest and boycott because if you don't buy their product then they'll wise up REAL fast.

Also, all this anti-piracy crap isn't help anyone. The pirates still get the job done and the consumers who are actually dishing out the $50-$60 per game are getting shafted by mountains of issues that crop up due to copy protection, game authentication, and all this subversive DRM shit. You want to keep your game safe from pirates? Try the PS3.

Yea really bad move on blizzards part seeing that most the people I know that played Warcraft 2, 3 and starcraft liked to lan party alot. Also even though you can lets say use the net with whatever thier using  like battlenet ect. its no reason to take out lan from a game. Also just becasue some people don't lan party or whatnot dosen't mean people should be so foul becasue I am sorry if starcraft 2 dosen't have a lan ability I just won't buy it becasue reason for lan is to not have to worry about authenticating everyone to a non local server and lan with alot of your friends is a great way to play against one another without alot of lag or worry that some idiot will hack into you password protected room on whatever services they use for the internet play ( probly battlenet. ) Now honestly though canncleing your WoW account isn't gonna do much justice not to mention that alot of people probly playing WoW right now might not even care for starcraft 2. Now I mean I could be wrong on that and maybe if a ton of people did stop thier WoW accounts and whatnot they might rethink it then again they might not. So for everyone wanting to just come on here and call people a whiner how abotu you accualy make a constrictive point of view instead of insulting people becasue only people with nothing more than an ingnorate excusse to just be a a-hole pop shots people like I seen here. And yes my view is in a constrictive manner reguardless if its bad grammer and bad spelling and had more effort put in than the insultes done here.
