I support it 100%  I think that by giving the option for same sex marriage you allow friends in real life to get the benefits for their same sex characters that comes along with ingame marriage without having to fight over who is the guy and who is the girl...it also allows IRL couples (such as my fiance and I) where the guys like to play female characters "because its easier staring at a girls butt all day then a guys" get married to their IRL girlfriends/wives in game.

I don't mind it. if anything it makes more since in a world of fantasy where anything goes.

It can't do any more harm then having same sex marraiges in a game that allows it.

to me i dont think its a good idea having any sort of marraiges in games, i find it pretty freaky tbh and itleads to scamming. in some cases. tbh marrying in games seems to be some sort of escape from reality for the socially inadept. i only marry for in-game rewards, go get yourself a real girl/boyfriend

I agree Mewanna, but also there is the small percentage like myself.. I play FFXI as a Mithra, I will be right up front, I love catgirls and its one of the reasons I play it, but I never hide my true RL gender.  But I have a friend who is female (in game and RL), and just for fun, it would have been nice if we could have been married.

<3~ I support it 99.9%. I mean people who are "Lost in time" trying to stay strict on "traditional marriage" just sounds sexist both to female and male people. I mean the only traditional marriage I know is where the (most of the time forced) bride stays to the left leaving the groom's "Sword Hand" free to kill any protesters  to the wedding (including other men and the bride's own family)

I agree with that if you implement and encourage 'online dating and marriage', including making your money with half-naked hot digital women rubbing on eachother, why not add some backbone to it and make it official for everyone? As much as I see male players making women characters to roleplay out their lesbian wet dreams, why not let everyone in on the fun? It doesn't seem very fair...

Marriage in games is nothing but an excuse to give bonuses to those parties involved.  Neglecting to give the ability of those stats for same sex couples in game is technically virtural discrimination.  Even though in the game, the character bears no resemblance to who i am, i have many female friends who choose to pick male characters. No one should have to alter their ingame gender just to get the benefits involved with in-game marages.

It shouldn't affect the rating of a game one way or another.  To say it should is just goofy and stupid.  Nobody is going to suddenly turn gay because they see people marrying others of the same sex.  Either you are gay or you are not.  I especially hate hearing people say that girls marrying girls is okay, but not guys and guys.  That's the most ignorant red-necked version of a load of crap you could ever hear.  Lesbians don't like you guys, no matter if you think they are "hot" or not, they aren't interested in you.  It is a fact that a huge percentage of "girls" online are actually being played by guys, so they want to be able to marry other girls or pretend they are bi-sexual or lesbian.  But if you allow one, you should allow the other.  The only reason I would ever be against same sex marriage is that reason, that I don't like guys pretending to be girls and then wanting to marry other girls.  It gives the impression that nearly all girls online are bisexual, and that's BS.  For real homosexuals, they should be allowed to marry the same sex.  For people who are just joking around and marrying friends, they should be able to do it too.  It's all just playing anyway, and it's not going to affect their real choices in one way or another unless they are already gay or bisexual.

Dream of Mirror just implented it in their marriage thing in the game. But if were like a game rated E or E +10 I really don't think it should be implented. There are already a thread on THQice's forums about how they discriminate homosexuals when the developers of the game never thought of it. Its okay but I don't think is used that often in games. I don't really see that many same sex marriages in Dream of Mirror.

 I think that as the new generation of children is overall getting more and more liberal, you need to start including more options for the minority groups such as having same sex marriage for both sexes.

I am for it, I say let people do what they want, its not hurting me.  Besides..... this is a game, if people are going to get that worked up about same sex marrige in a game (both players are RL dudes 90% of the time anyway, even if one of the player characters is female) then they really need to check their life at the door, and go care about somthing that really matters.

I think if you include different sex marriage in game, you should include same sex marriage too.(male AND female)  If the idea does not fit the game, then do not include marriage at all.
