I completed my first MMO, yay
Category: Default Game: Drift City Posted on Jul 27, 2009 8:11 pm
I solely wanted to complete an MMO and had alot of free MMO's to choice from, so I chose Drift City, as I like driving and it had alot to offer to complete the game. I completed the story part of Drift City, after finishing the story at level 63.
After completing the game, I had a chance to complete more after story missions, tasks and even compete against other players online. Also a chance to unlock and buy better vehicles. However this adds to more experience and high levels. So I started to think.
The first time I played an MMO was Runescape along with my friends back in 2004, afterwards I got bored. Then after World of Warcraft, there was an explosion of more MMO's. I had my new computer in 2007, so I started to experiment a bit and try out the MMOs of that year.
I tired Gunz, Twelve Sky and a few more.
I started playing Drift City back in 2007. Out of all the MMOs, I chose Drift City to complete. Until I was lvl 23, it was more about doing other tasks then the main story mission, until I was level 58, which took me months to get too, the missions started to offer experience which leveled the character everytime, until I completed the story. It was alot of hard work, however the more I drove around the city, I learnt how to make alot of mitos (in game cash), drift and maintain my speed and have fun.
Drifting was easy, hold down the shift key metres before a corner and turn the vehicle sharply and releasing the shift key when on a straight road is how to pull off a good drift. It took some time getting used too and also other traffic and obstances got in the way which can ruin a drift.
After completing the story, the game was more opened and along with the extra content.
However as exciting as it sounds to complete the story, it was forfilling just to finally complete an MMO. I decided to delete my character on my ijji account. I'll be awaiting for Need for Speed World Online to be released.
