11-Year-Old Genius Says Games a Waste Of Time
Category: Random Game: Default Posted on Jun 08, 2009 12:16 am

"I feel it's a waste of time playing video games because it's not helping humanity in any way," says Moshe Kai Cavalin, the 11-year-old boy, who graduated with honors from East Los Angeles Community College with a Associate Arts degree in Liberal Studies this week. He also says he wants to use his knowledge to change the world
Not mean to push him into flames, but I'm really wondering how you guys think about it. Well he mentions Humanity...at his 11, I appreciate it definitely, but on the other hand, that is also the only reason I could not agree what he said. I mean what he said is more like a child's good wish, and he will grow up.
Clearly he's never played a Grand Theft Auto game. What better way to help humanity than using the game as education for what not to do to hookers with speeding vehicles? That's a lesson in humanity you can take right to the bank.----- An observer on Kotaku.com said.
Backgrounds: Moshe Kai Cavalin started college when he was 8. He tutored his older classmates, scored some martial arts competition awards and is graduating with a 4.0. NBC Los Angeles News reports that the prodigy is planning on writing a book for kids on how to succeed in school.
What do you think?
